In many ways, the issuance of toxic convertibles are a legal method to transfer assets from the existing common shareholders into the pockets of the toxic convertibles and, to a smaller degree, the management. The toxic convertible holders get the bulk of the benefit, but don't be fooled - the  issuing company's management is also a beneficiary. Let's face it, most of the  companies that stoop low enough to issue these death ride convertibles do it because without the quick cash they bring in the Company would be forced to go out of business. In almost every case, the small amount of cash they receive is not enough to rescue the business which is almost always a casualty of bad business decisions our faulty business plan capped off by the terminal decision to issue the death ride convertibles. The small amount of cash and brief window of time afforded by the convertible's issuance is almost never enough to rescue a company which by all rights is already on life support. In the meantime, management gets to draw what is usually generous salary and benefits for awhile longer and may even bail out of their own share positions before the ship sinks entirely.

While the only winners in the issuance of death rides is the convertible holders and the management, there are lots of losers on the deals

Dr. George concluded, "I trust that all stockholders will understand that this plan is intended to extract the highest value from our technology and intellectual property. We believe our restructuring plan will allow us to more efficiently and economically focus on productivity and profitability."

Richard Brounstein, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer said, "This initiative allows Calypte to focus its capital resources on the global launch of its rapid product line, the products that we believe represent a compelling opportunity. Calypte's administrative team plans to maintain the company's internal controls and corporate governance standards throughout the transition to a new staff in Portland and will ensure a seamless conversion throughout this process."

As part of the restructuring, Calypte has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to sell its urine EIA, serum Western Blot and urine Western Blot HIV in vitro diagnostic business. The terms of the sale are currently being negotiated and the Company expects to execute a definitive agreement during the current quarter.

Today we drive cars, ride in airplanes and use computers as if they've been around forever. Like the Nay Sayers the Market has made a mistake. It looks at Calypte through the lens of old management and says "new management is like the old." What they can't see is a man who is patient and consistently working toward fulfilling his dream, a dream that will take this little Company from the bottom and become a leading world contender in STD testing. Longs are still here because they know this isn't just your run of the mill CEO at the helm. It's why the folks with all the money continue to give more, even when there is virtually no collateral. The high road is always more difficult to travel but well worth the effort. Those who never take risks or won’t believe in anything will never experience what it means to go higher.

ich seine sture haltung nicht vollziehen.

wenn aufgrund von filings und q-zahlen die wahrheit auf der hand liegt. dann ist ein stures verhalten einfach dumm und unseinsichtig.

selbst wenn umsätze kommen bringt euch das nicht sehr viel. was bringt es euch, wenn ihr dieses jahr noch die 0,10$ erreicht. sollten dannn umsätze kommen, macht ihr vielleicht 300%, weil so groß werden diese am anfang auch nicht sein.

nur, wem ist hier mit 0,40$ geholfen?

die beste variante ist und bleibt: jetzt aussteigen.

wenn keine umsätze kommen, werdet ihr einen ähnlichen verlust erleiden, wie wir bei augrid. nur bei uns ging es schneller und wir scheinen lernfähig zu sein...

wer in caly nur mit 2000 € drin ist, kann ja gerne alles oder nicht sspielen.

die meisten von euch hardliner haben aber eher 5-stellige euro-summen in caly gesteckt, sofern die aussagen derer ernstzunehmen sind, da sollte jedoch irgendwo die risikobereitschaft aufhören, harakiri zu spielen...

If and when Calypte gets good test results, they must still get approvals from the countries they wish to sell in and also approvals from their suppliers and patent holders that they presently owe about 2 million dollars to, that are seeing all of HIV's present products being abandoned.

After they finally get the test results, country approvals, and have the suppliers and patent holders sign off, all they need then is a product that they can competitively sell at $ 1, the price of all their competitors, or a super salesman who can convince China, Uganda and others to pay HIV $ 3 per test for their non FDA and non WHO approved rapid tests instead of the $ 1 that all their competitors are charging for their WHO approved rapid tests. For that they might have to rehire Tony Cataldo(or maybe Joe Isuzu).

And if they can pull off this "Magic" feat they must give Marr 49% of all profits on the Chinese tests.

I am sure that Roger "let me consult" Gale and Dr. Richard "you can hold me accountable" George will address all these issues in their next Press Release.

dacht schon, du wärest geläutert....muhahahah, nein nicht wirklich dachte ich das.

richtig, der anstieg wird kommen: von 0,10$ auf 0,20$...klar...

den nächsten "totalverlust" empfehle ich mit ifex...

achso: was macht das penthouse? prust....

meine totalverluste haben den unterschied, dass ich irgendwann die reissleine ziehe. siehe netlife. hier bin ich schon im sommer des letzten jahres zu 0,67 raus. aber schön, dass du mich immer noch damit verbindest. bei augrid hast du allerdings recht. da bin ich leider noch dabei und warte auf den ausstieg im gegensatz zu dir bei caly.

diese woche unter 0,20$....und im august dann die bollerwagenfahrt von einer bahnhofsmission zur nächsten...

sturheit ist eben auch eíne gabe gottes...

Na ja, wieder mal aktuell 510 $ Verlust in einer Woche ! Guru, du ! Hast wohl gemeint, Du kannst uns hier mit nem tollen Trinity-Run in kürzester Zeit ärgern ... Woran liegts, dass Dein Liebling im letzten halben Jahr fast 50% verloren hat. Du hast uns doch immer erklärt, dass TRIB soviel toller als Calypte ist ?!

Eigentlich interessierts mich ja nicht, aber ist schon irgendwie lustig wenn Dein Proleten-Schuß nach hinten los geht. Wahrscheinlich haste gar keine gekauft- nur blabla und heißer Dampf.
Wann ziehst Du denn die Reißleine bei TRIB ?!?!?!?!?

hirn dazu verwenden die reissleine bei 1,60$ zu ziehen. 20% verlust nehme ich zur not in kauf.

warum 50% verlust in 6 monaten?

ich stehe dir rede und antwort, weil ich die augen nicht vor der wahrheit verschliesse, wie du. trinity hat und wird massiv neue aktien ausgeben. momentan sind es ca. 55.000.000 und es werden nochmal wesentlich mehr im laufe der zeit.

wenn du meinst, dass mein "proleten-schuß" nach hinten losgeht, dann bleibe mal beider kursverfolgung. wir sind bald wieder über 2,00$. es wird ´mir eine wonne sein, wenn du das sehen wirst. im gegensatz zu caly macht trinity umsatz und gewinn. hie hat di aktienausgsgabe den zweck der finanzierung der expansion.

nur ein unwissender und sturer esel wie du kann trinity mit caly vergleichen, hast du mal deren zahlen gesehen. da träumst du mit caly nur von...

viel spaß bei deinem siechenden totalverlust. weiß du eigentlich was einsicht ist? - nein -            weißt du wie es geschrieben wird? - nein -
