Globex, Inc. Announces Strategic Acquisition of 33 Additional Uranium Mining Claims adjacent to Grenville Property
NEW YORK, March 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Globex, (Nachrichten) Inc. (GLXI: Pink Sheets), today announced that its first project team working in the Mount-Laurier area has finalized the acquisition of an additional 33 Uranium Cell claims in Northern Quebec, Canada. These claims are situated in the area surrounding the Company's Grenville Property, specifically in sector 31 J14. This is a key strategic acquisition for Globex as it now owns a significant number of adjoining claims in this uranium-rich sector. These new claims occupy an area of approximately 6.5 square miles.
Preliminary available geologist reports indicated a potential reserve of 300,000 tons with a concentration factor of 1.5% to 2.5% U308.
Management stated: "We are systematically identifying and taking advantage of opportunities to expand our asset base in this strategic sector. This will increase our negotiating power in joint venture deals regarding planned uranium extraction activities, which are currently in the works."
Management also indicated that the Company will take all the necessary steps to commence extraction activities in full respect of the relevant environmental protocols and will work together with the local community to protect the mining area.
Globex also announced that the geologists will complete the first phase of the drilling program this week, and will send all the samples for further evaluation and testing in order to complete the 43-101.

Globex Completes Purchase of Wood Gold Property Drill Returns to Ironwood Gold Discovery
ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 22, 2007) - GLOBEX MINING ENTERPRISES INC. (TSX:GMX)(FRANKFURT, STUTTGART, BERLIN, MUNICH, XETRA:G1M)(PINK SHEETS:GLBXF) wishes to inform shareholders that it has made the final payment to the group of prospectors from whom Globex purchased the Wood Gold Mine property in Cadillac Township, Quebec.
The final payment consisted of $60,000 and 210,000 Globex shares.
In addition, Globex wishes to inform shareholders that a drill has moved back onto the Wood Gold Mine property in order to drill test the Ironwood gold discovery below the 300 metres level.
Also, geological compilation work has been completed on the neighbouring Central Cadillac Gold Mine property and has indicated that little or no exploration has been done on that property below the 300 metres level. Upon completion of the deeper Ironwood drilling, the drill will be moved to the Central Cadillac property to test the stratigraphy to depth. Geophysical targets, indicated during a recently completed ground surveys, will also be tested.
A budget of over $800,000 has been dedicated for this phase of the work, one half of which shall be paid by Queenston Mining Inc. (TSX:QMI), Globex\'s joint venture partner.

A budget of $800,000 has been approved by the 50%-50% joint venture for the next phase of exploration on the property. The primary target continues to be the Ironwwod Zone discovery where 23 of 26 holes, drilled in 2006, have outlined a gold deposit over a length of 75 m and to a depth of 250 m where it remains open. Significant drill intersections from the Ironwood Zone, as reported in previous news releases posted on the Company\'s web site, include:
- 22.6 g/t Au over a true width of 22.9 m in hole W06-22
- 8.9 g/t Au over a true width of 19.1 m in hole W06-26

This concerted decision involves the completion of audited financial statements; the disclosure of current control stock positions; and the nomination of executive officers, namely a CEO and a CFO.
