EMC² ist die Nummer 1 im weltweiten Speichergeschäft. Im dritten Quartal hat der Konzern seine Führungsposition bei externen Speichersystemen laut dem Marktforschungsinstitut IDC noch weiter ausgebaut - und das im fünften Quartal in Folge. EMC² gewann mit einem Umsatzplus von 17 Prozent mehr Marktanteile hinzu als jeder andere der größten Konkurrenten.
Bin gerade schwer am überlegen, meine anderweitigen Positionen zu reduzieren bzw. zu cutten, und diese komplett in EMC rüber zu schichten, um kleine Kurskorrekturen sofort schamlos in einen weiteren Positionsaufbau zu investieren.

es wohl nix mit nachlegen. Stattdessen läuft das Papier hoch zum letzten High. Im Gegensatz zu Cisco oder JDS enorme Stärke. Im Techsektor eines der wenigen Gorilla-Unternehmen, die charttechnisch besser dastehen als viele andere Größen. Fundamental sowieso.

Natürlich muss die Integration abgeschlossen sein und "ergebniswirksam" werden.
Tatsache ist, dass EMC fette Gewinne einfährt - Tendenz steigend. Über kurz oder

For three years, EMC has organized two holiday gift drives, The Snowman Project and Toys for Tots, during the months of November and December. Ja, das ist wirklich unverständlich. Endlich mal ein Unternehmen, wo auch ordentlich Substanz hintersteckt und der Kurs verläuft grottenschlecht. Ich bin zwar immer noch deutlich im Plus, aber schon seit Langem verspreche ich mir weit mehr von EMC.

Bear Stearns reiterated an "outperform" rating and $17 target price on EMC (nyse: EMC - news - people ), saying the software company's conservative 2005 guidance could drive earnings upside. The research firm said EMC's primary focus is on driving growth by taking share in the storage market as well as expanding its market opportunity in adjacent areas with acquisitions. At the same time, EMC is also "focused on expanding its operating margins to its stated target of high teens exiting 2005." Accordingly, EMC is keeping a tight control on expenses while trying to drive growth, Bear Stearns said. EMC has noted that acquisition focus is on software companies that expand its market opportunity and are easy to integrate. Bear Stearns said new high-end products from IBM (nyse: IBM - news - people ) and Hitachi (nyse: HIT - news - people ) haven't affected EMC and that EMC's new storage router is set for release by mid-2005. The research firm reiterated its 2005 pro-forma earnings-per-share estimate of 52 cents, versus EMC's guidance of 47 cents to 51 cents. For 2006, Bear Stearns estimates earnings of 62 cents per share. Tendenz weiter Richtung SÜDEN. Nicht mehr weit entfernt vom letzten Tief bei 7,47 und wenn es weiter so schlecht läuft sehen wir vielleicht nochmal die 3,90 von vor 2,5 Jahren, wer weiß?
Der Euro macht wieder mächtig Druck und das sorgt natürlich auch für Kursschwankungen, aber EMC entwickelt sich nicht so, wie die Annalüstän vorhersagen.
