Kronos Releases Year End Financial Results

BELMONT, Mass., Sep 30, 2003 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Kronos Advanced Technologies, Inc. (KNOS) announced its fiscal 2003 financial results. Kronos increased its revenues from its wholly owned subsidiary, Kronos Air Technologies, Inc., by 503% and reduced its operating expenses by 14% for the year ended June 30, 2003 compared with its revenue and expenses in fiscal 2002.
Kronos recognized $559,000 in revenues during the year ended June 30, 2003. Revenues were generated from five customer contracts, including HoMedics, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and a leading business jet supplier, in three different market segments: consumer, military and transportation.
Kronos reduced its operating expenses during the twelve-months ending June 30, 2003 by $469,000 or 14% compared with the prior year. This reduction was principally the result of a concerted effort to reduce the Company's reliance on consultants and other professional service firms, as well as transitioning key members of the Company's management team from consulting contracts to employment agreements.
