Allerdings untersucht JPM nur den Einfluss von Trumps Tweets auf den Bondmarkt - und kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass die (Re-)Tweets keinen großen Einfluss hätten und an Wirkung verlören (unten).
Viel stärker sind jedoch mMn die kurzfristigen Reaktionen des Aktienmarktes auf die Trump-Tweets, die JPM nicht untersucht hat. Vermutlich weil (*VT on*) Trump einen "Deal" mit Wall Street laufen hat: Er signalisiert den Großzockern immer schon ein paar Stunden vorher, wenn er sein "next big thing" via Twitter ablässt, und kassiert dafür Tantiemen, zahlbar in Bitcoin in Weißrussland (*VT off*).
Tatsächlich könnte sein, dass JPM hier eine Nebelbombe wirft, um Trumps signifikanten Einfluss auf die kurzfiristige Aktienmarkt-Vola zu vertuschen.

The index explains a “measurable fraction” of moves in implieds, particularly in shorter tails, that is 2-year rates and 5-year rates, as opposed to 10-year rates. Digging into the Twitter stream, they say the most impactful tweets have focused on trade, with those mentioning monetary policy of lesser influence. “China,” “billion” and “products” were among words topping the list on those market-sensitive tweets.
Their model finds that out of around 4,000 non-retweets occurring during market hours from 2018-present, only 146 moved the market. (A.L. Mag sein, aber JPM untersucht ja nur den Bondmarkt...) And quality is not quantity as they note that the Volfefe index ”strongly outperforms the sheer tweet count in periods headed into substantially elevated implied volatility.”
