(Nasdaq: CLBR), the leading developer and global distributor of corporate eLearning solutions, today announced a new technology alliance with The Fantastic Corporation (NEMAX: FAN), a global provider of proven, end-to-end broadband multimedia delivery solutions. This announcement is another step in Caliber's long-term strategy in maintaining core eLearning expertise in-house while partnering with best-of-breed providers to fulfill the complete cycle of its Global 2000 clients' eLearning and distance training needs.
Under the terms of the agreement, Caliber will incorporate Switzerland- based Fantastic Corporation's broadband software solutions into its eLearning services to enable the aggregation, management and distribution of multimedia content over broadband IP networks including satellite, digital terrestrial, cable and xDSL Wireless Local Loop (WLL) networks. Fantastic's solution enables video and audio streaming to any IP-enabled device including PCs, TVs, set-tops and personal digital assistant devices.
