Hatte eine Konversation mit Managing Director Justin Brown.
Möchte ich Euch nicht vorenthalten:
Hello Madams, hello Sirs,
i am a german private investor, very good networked and i had a look at your company.
So i am very excited about your story, especially Manganese.
I saw on the last quarterly activities report at page 10 the massive exploration potential.
What are the next steps/progresses with Montezuma Mining?
We currently have a three pronged approach with the Butcherbird Project:
Undertake commercial studies on the Yanneri Ridge Deposit , where we recently published our maiden resource. We are currently completing more definitive metallurgical testwork (estimate completion in 3-4 weeks) and this will be followed by a scoping study which we hope to have completed mid year 2011.
In parallel with this we will be completing an aggressive exploration campaign on a number of new manganese targets which have not been drill tested.
At the same time as we push the manganese story forward, we will also be investigating the potential for the Butcherbird copper target, where we recently confirmed a primary copper/cobalt sulphide deposit with significant commercial potential.
What is the philosophy of your company?
We are a team with a strong focus on technical excellence, extensive exploration experience and a commitment to social and environmental best practise. We aim to add value for shareholders through the exploration and development of mineral deposits.
What are your targets?
I would like to guide Montezuma through the transition from advanced explorer to profitable mineral exporter in the next two years.
What is your agenda in exploration-Scoping study-jorc studies?
We have completed our maiden JORC resource at Yanneri Ridge and are now aiming to have definitive metallurgical assessment and a scoping study completed by the middle of this year.
I heard you had some problems with the strong rainings/wet season?
The rains have been particularly heavy this year causing disruption to explorers and producers alike throughout the Murchison and Pilbara regions of Western Australia. Unfortunately this has included us, but we hope to have the drilling restarted in the next 2-3 weeks if the rains hold off.
At which cut off it makes an economic sense, to start production?
From the work we have done so far, the bulk in ground grade of the material does not seem to be related to the grade post-beneficiation, so cutoff grade may not be all that important. Our target grade for the beneficiated material is >35% Mn.
What is about the purity of the material?
Preliminary work suggests that we can produce a concentrate >35% Mn which is in the commercial range and impurity levels are reasonable.
What do you think is the number of tonnes Mn exploration target in your area?
We currently have an upper end Exploration Target of close to 200 million tonnes (including the JORC Resource at Yanneri Ridge, however there are a number of targets that remain to be drilled and there is potential for this to increase significantly with further drilling.
How many shares of Montezuma your management is holding themselves?
I currently hold a little over 1M shares and several million options. Full details of directors holdings can be viewed on our latest Appendix 3Y notice which you can get either from the ASX website or our own.
If it is possible, please send me a current Top20 holders registry and a current prasentation.
You can get the latest presentation which includes the top 20 from our website at;
www.montezumamining.com.au/...ask=view&id=16&Itemid=50I saw that there are 25 mln options are in the money.
Who is owner of them? Have you got some informations/agreements, if they will hold them?
The options have either been issued to directors and management as incentive based payments or were issued as part of the seed and IPO raisings in 2006. A large proportion expire in August 2011 and are in the money so you would expect these to be exercised.
What is about the current cash situation?
Approximately AUD$3.6M in cash and $4M in investments.
What are you expecting about the Auvex/Mineral Resources deal?
What is your strategy about that?
If the scheme of arrangement is approved by Auvex shareholders then at current prices we will receive around $3M in Mineral Resources Limited script which will be liquid and obviously will be an important source of capital going forward. The Board will manage this and other investments on an ongoing basis to endeavour to get the best return for shareholders.
