Mobilcom of Jordan Selects LHS' BSCS as Its Billing and Customer Care Solution

ATLANTA & FRANKFURT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 2000--LHS Group Inc. (NASDAQ: LHSG, Neuer Markt: LHI) announced today that newly founded mobile telecommunications company Mobilcom of Jordan has selected LHS' BSCS 5.21 as its customer care and billing solution. Andersen Consulting will act as systems integrator.
Mobilcom is a subsidiary of the Jordanian Telecom Company (JTC) and one of the leading GSM operators in Jordan. The formerly state-owned JTC was recently privatized and is currently 40% owned by France Telecom. LHS' BSCS solution is already used by several of France Telecom's subsidiaries.
