China has four more wind farms
Adds 198 megawatts of clean energy to grid.
Four new wind farms have become operational in China. The farms are operated by Huadian Power International Company, a subsidiary of China Huadian Corporation, one of the five largest state-owned power generation enterprises in China.
Huadian Power is the Group's major subsidiary company. It operates thermal powers stations in China. Huadian Group produces about 10% of China's power and is one of the Big Five IPPs along with Huaneng Group, Datang Group, Guodian Group and CPI Group.
The four farms will add 198 megawatts of clean energy to grid. Two of the farms, of 49.5 megawatts each, are operated by its Hebei Huadian Yuzhou Wind Power Co. and two by Huadian Ningxia Ningdong Wind Power Co. Huadian has an installed capacity from all power sources of 31.7 gigawatts.
With a loan from China Development Bank, Huadian Power began building the wind farms in Heilongjiang Province in late 2011. The four wind farms, which are managed by Huadian Power, consist of 132 wind turbines,
