German banks are bundling billions of euros in loans to sell as asset-backed bonds into the international debt market, The Wall Street Journal said on Wednesday. State-owned bank Kreditanstalt fuer Wiederaufbau, Deutsche Bank (DB) , HypoVereinsBank (DE:802200) , Allianz (AZ) subsidiary Dresdner Bank, Commerzbank (DE:803200) and DZ Bank are expected to participate. The move should help German banks issue more credit to customers, the report said, without detailing how much the loan sale will be.
