Crude futures climb more than $1 as heating fuels rally 13.10.2004 20:16 Zurück Headlines
SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- November crude is up $1.07 at $53.58 a barrel,
reversing from earlier declines that saw prices fall to a low of $51.49, as
heating-fuel prices rallied. November heating oil is up 2.3 percent at $1.495 a
gallon, a fresh all-time futures high and November natural gas is up 4.6 percent
at $6.93 per million British thermal units. Nearly 14 percent of Gulf of Mexico
natural-gas production remains shut in as of Wednesday, the Minerals Management
Service said in its latest report.
