EnerGulf Offered 17% Interest in Namibia Offshore Block 1711 Exploration License

HOUSTON, Nov 07, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
EnerGulf Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ENG) is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Mines and Energy of the Republic of Namibia has notified EnerGulf that it is offered a 17% interest in Block 1711 offshore Namibia exploration license.

In an official letter of offer addressed to PetroSA, (the South African parastatal petroleum company), a copy of which was delivered to EnerGulf by the Ministry, the Ministry informed the parties, that the exploration license for Block 1711 will be issued, upon acceptance of the offer, as per the following interests: PetroSA 70% and operator, EnerGulf 17%, Namcor 10% (the Namibian parastatal petroleum company) and local BEE group(s) 3%. Under the terms of the offer, PetroSA will be solely responsible for carrying Namcor and the local BEE group(s) during the exploration phase.

The minimum exploration work required by the Ministry, as stated in its offer, is a detailed technical review, seismic reprocessing and site surveys, with a minimum exploration expenditure of US $700,000. Upon acceptance of the offer, EnerGulf's financial commitment is 17% of such amount and all exploration and development costs thereafter.

The Ministry's letter includes an invitation to the parties to the exploration license signing ceremony scheduled for November 17, 2005.

Ich glaube heute geht es noch ein gutes Stück aufwärts. Sollte es in diesem Jahr noch zu Vertragsabschlüssen in Tanzania und Kongo komen und die Finanzierung von Nigeria klappen, sind hier noch 100% drin!!!

EnerGulf Resources Inc. Announces Longoria 174 #1 Well Update

HOUSTON, Nov 08, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
EnerGulf Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ENG) is pleased to announce an update to its Longoria 174 #1 well in Duval County, Texas operated by Killam Oil Company.

The well was drilled to a total depth of 12,825 feet and encountered the objective horizons anticipated being the Yegua and the Hinnant sands. Electric logs run by Halliburton indicate potentially productive oil and gas sands in the Yegua formation with the deeper Hinnant sands being non-productive. A completion rig has arrived on location and operations have commenced to test the Yegua sands.

EnerGulf, through its wholly owned subsidiary EnerGulf Corporation holds a 5% working interest in the Longoria 174 #1 and has paid 5% of the drilling and completion costs.

morgen wirds wieder grün auf dem deutschen Chart. Die geringen Umsätze in Canada sind schon erstaunlich. Was man wohl mit paar k in Canada wohl bewirken kann. Stellt man sich mal vor einer schmeisst in Canada 50k limitlos, dann fällt der Kurs in D ins Jenseits, da sich der Kurs an der Heimatbörse orientiert. Hier ist viel nach unten manipulierbar. Möchte nicht wissen was das gespielt wird. Nichtsdestotrotz wird der Wert weiter nach oben ziehen, allein die Info von Bullvestor heute zeigt doch deutlich, dass an den Gerüchten, die bei WO rumgeschwirrt sind nichts dran ist. Texas wurde hier als ein Nullfund bezeichnet, Bullvestor hält da voll dagegen. Wer jetzt noch glaubt die WO-Jünger haben hier Recht (ein gewisser shawn30 hat wohl was negatives zu Texas gepostet), dem ist nicht mehr zu helfen. Energulf ist auf dem richtigem Weg.

The Lotshi block covers approximately 475 square kilometres of the ZBC in the onshore coastal salt basin of western DRC and is contiguous to the highly prospective Cabinda area of Angola. The offshore blocks of Cabinda closest to the ZBC contain the giant (more than 500 million barrels of recoverable reserves) Malongo and Takula field complexes operated by Chevron (S.W. Carmalt and Dr. Bill St. John). Immediately adjacent to the ZBC in onshore Cabinda are several undeveloped shallow oil discoveries in blocks held by Devon, Occidental and ROC. The ZBC is also immediately adjacent to the East-Mibale, Laiwenda-Kinkasi and Muana-Banana fields operated by Perenco. Onshore oil production from the Perenco fields is about 9,000 barrels of oil per day. Offshore production from Perenco and Chevron in DRC waters account for about 18,000 barrels of oil per day.

More detailed information regarding the geology, hydrocarbon potential and proposed work program of the Lotshi block will be provided in the near future.

Additionally, EnerGulf is in continuing negotiations for further acreage in the ZBC and will provide information as events warrant.

A significant portion of Block 252 is within a major thrust belt that has yielded giant fields in Nigeria and neighboring Equatorial Guinea. Giant fields in the thrust belt include Nnwa-Doro in OPL (Oil Prospecting License) 218 (>500 MMBOE recoverable), Agbami (1000 MMBOE recoverable) in OPL 216, and Zafiro (1008 MMBOE recoverable) in Block B of Equatorial Guinea. The thrust belt is thought to be especially prolific due to the large structures and to commonly occurring stacked pay zones. Nearby in this trend, the ChevronTexaco Nsiko discovery in OPL 249 has tested 6500 BOPD (barrels of oil production per day), the Total Ukot discovery in OPL 222 flowed at more than 13,000 BOPD and, the Total Akpo-1 discovery well in OPL 246 tested at 9000 BOPD. Detailed analysis of the seismic data will be targeted at identifying the exact locations and sizes of specific structures.

Total reserve size of the seven world-class discoveries from the deep offshore is estimated at more than 3 billion barrels of oil and 16.2 trillion cubic feet of gas by the Nigerian government. The fields are Bonga, Agbami, Eha, Akpo, Bonga SW, Chorta, and Nwa/Doro

ENERGULF AMENDS PRIVATE PLACEMENT AND PROVIDES UPDATE ON NIGERIA BLOCK 252

Further to the private placement of EnerGulf Resources Inc. reported in Stockwatch on Oct. 13, 2005, EnerGulf confirms that, subject to regulatory approval, it has amended the price to $3.50 per unit for up to 500,000 units. All other terms of the private placement remain unchanged.

With respect to Nigeria oil prospecting licence (OPL) 252, the EnerGulf/Derock joint venture has been informed that it has been granted an extension until Jan. 30, 2006, to pay the required signature bonus. EnerGulf has licensed the Veritas 3-D seismic data covering the block, and as technical partner of the EnerGulf/Derock joint venture, is conducting a continuing evaluation, which is developing estimates as to the hydrocarbon potential of the block. Such analysis is being performed by EnerGulf's geological and geophysical consultants, Digital Prospectors, under the direction of Dr. Bill St. John, EnerGulf's senior adviser for African exploration. EnerGulf is currently engaged in discussions with various parties, including qualified potential industry partners, regarding the future of the block. Developments will be made public as appropriate.
