Additionally, in the summer of 2004 the management of the Sons of Gwalia (now Talison) announced that they had run out of surface high grade at Wodgina and that they had to spend $18 million AU to take to operation underground where the grades were lower, the recovery rates were lower but where the production costs were higher.

This situation then persisted until June of 2008 when the new management (Talison) announced that they were not economical at the sale price of $60.00 USD per pound and that they need to raise prices to at least $100.00 to stay in operation.

Please note that this is 4 years after the Wodgina mine went underground and this is where we bring you to the current state of affairs – today June 11, 2010.

In this first article you will see Bryan Ellis of Talison Minerals quoted liberally. This begs the question – “Who do you think knows more about the state of global tantalum demand at this time: the representative of the world’s largest tantalum miner of all time or some “newsletter writer” from the US”?

This higher price for tantalum that is needed before Talison will be able to go back into production is, I believe, quite likely what with the continued supply deficit of material produced by an ethical western miner.

As well, the point should be stressed that even with Talison - and Noventa - back into production that there will be a continued shortfall of clean tantalum for years, even following the production start for Crevier and Commerce.

Very simply, Talison Minerals historically produced 2 million pounds per year and they are just looking to produce – if the tantalum price goes up 80% to $100.00 USD – 750,000 pounds per annum, leaving a 1.25 million pounds shortfall from just their operation alone.

This does not include the amount of tantalum that historically came from the US Defense National Stockpile which was approximately 350,000 to 500,000 pounds per annum, and so the total continued shortfall should be calculated in the range of 1.5 to 1.7 million pounds per year.

Auf diesen Beweis warten die Anleger nun schon seit 3 Jahren...

Hier soll innerhalb der nächsten 3 Monate eine  Scoping-Studie veröffentlicht werden, die sich auf eines der weltweit grössten Tantal- und Niob-Vorkommen bezieht.

Man kann ja gerne kritische Beiträge liefern...aber doch nicht im Stundentakt  (ein wenig übertrieben)

Meine Frage an Dich. Hälst Du CCE Aktien ? Oder hast du sie alle abgestoßen?  

 

 

 

Zu meinem Kauf- und Verkaufsverhalten gebe ich keine Auskunft; das ständige Hausieren anderer user mit ihren eigenen Praktiken hat mich zu sehr genervt.
Ich sammle lediglich Fakten über bestimmte Themen und stelle diese zur Verfügung.

Aus meinem Brass auf diese Aktie kann jeder halbwegs normal denkende Mensch sowieso die Ursachen ableiten.
Aber keine Sorge:
Ich lasse Euch ab jetzt mit Eurer "Perle" alleine, schliesslich ist alles Wichtige bereits gesagt...

Die Scoping Study bzw. 'preliminary economic assessment', wie die Studie korrekt bezeichnet wird, sollte innerhalb der nächsten 3-4 Monate veröffentlicht werden können. Wir blicken dieser Veröffentlichung zuversichtlich entgegen.

In this specific regard, we would much rather be conservative in an effort to minimize the disappointment of the market as we have already had this happen because we had originally suggested that the PEA might have been done before the end of 2009.

However, this is not in any way, shape or form, meant to indicate any concerns, problems or negative aspects for the project – it is simply that the very large task that we are charged with completing is dependant upon a whole list of processes each of which impacts the time frame of the next process.

Additionally, and in regards your comments, I am thinking that what you are most looking for is news that will positively impact the stock and the share price.

If this is the case, I would like to say that the list of material news items that we have coming – the new resource calculation, the results from the complete QA & QC of all drill holes completed to date (175 holes), the start of work in Quebec, the development of an MOU with the First Nations in our area – as well as the global deficit of tantalum producers, puts us in a unique position which should see our share price impacted significantly.

As well it is very likely – and almost certain – that we will see a significant price increase for tantalum and we, at Commerce Resources, because of our greater intended annual extraction rate, should give the best exposure to this upside.

I apologize that the timeline for this PEA has shifted over time. I hope you understand that we have always tried to be as accurate as possible in all regards."
