Hallo Macos.
Ich bin seit ca 3 Jahren investiert in ARWR. Ich bin hauptsächlich auf den amerikanische Seiten unterwegs weil hier in Deutschland noch keiner die Aktie im Blick hat obwohl wir schon gut seit 1.50$ und jetzt 28$ unterwegs sind... Sollte man sich mal fragen warum?
Es stehen aktuell viele News an die in den nächsten Wochen kommen dürften (wie du wahrscheinlich weißt).
Das Potential scheint schier unendlich da TRIM keine Safety Issues hat. So gut wie jedes Medikament scheint ein Volltreffer zu sein da
die Resultate bis jetzt immer besser waren als selbst erwartet und den Wettbewerbern weit voraus ist.
Ende des JAhres sollten wir bei 50$ sein wenn nicht mehr.
Falls Johnson und Johnson HBV FC Rates im Oktober oder November präsentiert sind 50$ wahrscheinlich ein Witz.

Ja, das Potential hier ist riesig. Hunderte Medikamente für BigPharma und die Orphan Drugs selbst bis zur Marktreife bringen. Dieses Jahr soll ja noch ein Kandidat für ein Muskelziel vorgestellt werden.
Chris Anzalone baut hier ein riesen Pharmaunternehmen auf das für mich jetzt schon so wertvoll ist.
Ich glaube auch das es deshalb unverkäuflich ist, so viel kann keiner Zahlen?

Ca 15 % Umsatzbeteiligung für Arrowhead? Über 10 Milliarden wären das. Bei KGV 10 wäre es ein Kurs von 1000 Dollar nur für HBV alleine?

Wenn hier das Wort FC (funtonal cure) fällt kann die Aktie locker über 100$ steigen trotz keinem vorliegenden Approval.
AMGEN ebensfalls in Partnerschaft mit Arrowhead wird Ende des Jahres für den Kardio Trial Daten veröffentlichen.
in den kommenden Wochen werden Ergebnisse aus Minimum 2-3 laufenden Studien erwartet und

in meinen Augen eine massive Unterbewertung.
Bis Mitte August werden Institutionen (fintel) Ihre Positionen weiter veröffentlichen und es wird zu Tage kommen das der Anteil der Short Positionen ein massives Problem zu Tage bringen wird welches die Short Anleger zwingen wird zu verkaufen.
Wenn Arrowhead weiter so arbeitet wie bis her und positive Daten liefert dann steht einem massivem Anstieg nichts im Wege.
PS: Genug Eigenkapital für die nächsten Jahre ist vorhanden und es müssen keine neuen Aktien auf den Markt geworfen werden :)
 
   

Never did weigh in on the "Seel HBV for $20Bn." That is almost mute-deserving. I think Bourbonisbest made the key comment there. At some point ARWR stock is going to trade at as much as 40x eps. But lets say 30x is more reasonable as the company "matures." Note that JNJ trades at roughly 25x TTM eps and their top line is slow growth with bottom line growing 10% - 15%. JNJ gets a premium due to size/safety, diversified portfolio, etc...ARWR will get a growth premium for quite a few years. HBV market is 2.5X the HCV market. Lets say JNJ can address 2X the market GILD addresses with Sovaldi/Harvoni. Peak revs for those drugs was upward of $25Bn/yr with operating margins of ~40%. Part of the decline in revenue was due to the introduction of three competitors. Lets say JNJ generates steady-state revenue for ten years of $45Bn (a bit less than 2x GILD but for a little longer). ARWR has a mid-teen royalty. Lets use 16%. Let's round down and use $6.75Bn at 92% margin (ALNY gets a low single digit royalty and there will be a few other bits to subtract) for $6.5Bn pre-tax. At 20% tax rate (will be lower but we'll use the marginal rate) Lets round down again and call it $5Bn after tax. Using JNJ's borrowing rate of roughly 4% as a discount rate (It is their BS and CF we are betting on.) I can just eyeball that its worth over $30Bn on a PV basis and that without adding the terminal value of say $10Bn more. But here's the fun part. While we might be able to sell to JNJ for $40Bn, as BIB points out, the market is going to capitalize this at roughly 30X earnings and NOT at the multiple of FCF or EBITDA or whatever a strategic buyer would pay. Remember the $5Bn of net income we conservatively calculated above? Put a 30x PE on that and Mr. Market will trade this at a value of $150Bn. Divide by 100Mn shares and that what the market will pay for this. Does not include the rest of the lot. So NO!!! CA will not take $20Bn for HBV.
