Aber wenn Schwung in UMTS kommen sollte, müssen
die Telkos auch Equipment z.B. von ADC kaufen

O2 to Install ADC's Metrica for its Digital Broadband Wireless Service
MINNEAPOLIS & MUNICH, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 27, 2004--ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT; www.adc.com) announced today that O2 Germany has extended its existing implementation of the Metrica® NPR system to monitor its Universal Mobile Telecommunications Service (UMTS) network.

"Metrica is a proven solution for next-generation networks, and we're pleased to be working with O2 on UMTS."
Metrica products are specifically designed for telco-class performance management and have been successfully deployed by more than 180 operators worldwide across a wide range of network technologies. These technologies include GSM, CDMA, GPRS, UMTS and most other wireless network technologies, Circuit Switched Voice, SDH/SONET Transmission, Voice Messaging System (VMS), Signaling System No. 7 (SS7), Intelligent Network (IN), ATM, Frame Relay, and IP.
