ROCO MINES Molybdän Produktion um Mitte 2007

Vancouver, das britische Columbia: Roca Mines Inc (ROK: TSX-V) ("Roca") gibt bekannt, dass es jetzt geschlossen hat, gab das private Stellen am 14. März 2007 bekannt. Sprott Asset Management Inc ist 1.212.121 Einheiten für den groben Erlös von 2 Millionen $ ausgegeben worden. Jede Einheit besteht aus einem allgemeinem Anteil und einer Aktienkauf-Befugnis, jede Befugnis, die den Halter berechtigt, einen zusätzlichen allgemeinen Anteil bis zum 28. September 2008 zu einem Preis von 2.25 $ zu erwerben. Alle ausgegebenen Wertpapiere sind einer halten Periode unterworfen, am 29. Juli 2007 ablaufend. Eine Gebühr eines Finders von 140.000 $ wurde im Zusammenhang mit dieser Finanzierung bezahlt. Geht von dieser Finanzierung aus wird verwendet, um ein beschleunigtes Erforschungsprogramm am Projekt von MAX Molybdenum von Roca mit dem Hauptziel finanziell zu unterstützen, die bekannte molybdenite Quelle an der Tiefe auszubreiten. Weitere Details bezüglich des Erforschungsprogramms von MAX und Timings des unterirdischen Bohrmaschine-Programms werden bekannt gegeben, sobald ein Diamantbohrmaschine-Vertrag beendet worden ist. Roca plant, der erste neue primäre Molybdän-Erzeuger in Kanada mit der Produktion zu sein, um Mitte 2007 anzufangen. Ein anderer möglicher Sieger ist Roca Mines Inc., das beabsichtigt, der erste neue kanadische Molybdänproduzent zu sein, als sein 100% MAXIMALEN Ablagerung Südosten von Revelstoke besassen, B.C., anfängt Betriebe dieser Sommer.

Roca konzentriert zuerst auf einen hochwertigen Kern, der 280.000 Tonnen enthält, die bei Sulfid des Molybdäns 1.95% geordnet werden. Dann - wenn Preise ermöglichen - es erweitert zu einer größeren Ablagerung von 43 Million Tonnen geordnet bei 0.20% Molybdän

Zerkleinerungsmaschine/Mühle u. Verdichter - alle schwere Ausrüstung, schließend ein; Zerkleinerungsmaschinen, Zufuhren, reibende Primärmühlen, schleifen Mühle nach und Verdickungsmittelbehälter sind angebracht worden und werden zu den elektrischen Kontrollen verdrahtet. Nach Kontrolle, Reparatur und der Prüfung des vorher geleiteten Wegaufstellungsortes alle großen Motoren und elektrischen Systeme sind an den Aufstellungsort geliefert worden. Wo erforderlich werden neue Zwischenlagen, Lager, Motoren und andere Einzelteile auch vor Start gepaßt. Der Baustahl der Mühl- und Zerkleinerungsmaschinegebäude ist aufgerichtet worden und Umhüllung wird kurz angewendet. Galerien zwischen den verschiedenen Gebäuden werden vor der Installation der Förderwerke durchgeführt.

Temporärer Aufbau kampiert - die Firma hat vor kurzem die Installation eines zweiten Aufbaulagers gekauft und durchgeführt, das mehr Flexibilität für Gehäuse seines Personals und Fremdfirmen bereitstellt.

Schlüsselbereiche des Projektes, die bleiben durchgeführt zu werden, schließen das folgende mit ein;

Elektrische Systeme Installation - ein elektrisches Netzverteilung System für die MAXIMALE Grube und die Mühle ist abgeschlossenes Zulassen das Last-Teilen und leistungsfähigen Energie Verbrauch von drei neuen 1.000 Kilowatt (jedes) Dieselgensets. Die Zerkleinerungsmaschine- und Mühlgebäude werden für interne Netzverteilung auf Ausrüstung und dem Beleuchten vorbereitet.

Rückstand-Service - nachdem Sie verschiedenes zerquetscht produziert haben und gespeichert haben, borgen und rockfill Materialien für die letzten vier Monate, Aufbau der Haupt (Süd) Verdammung ist jetzt gut unterwegs. Ausgezeichnete Wetterbedingungen haben in der Organisation und in der Plazierung der Verdammung Materialien geholfen. Starterverdammung Aufzüge werden vor dem gerichteten Produktion Datum durchgeführt. Fortwährender Verdammung Aufbau kommt bis zu einer entscheidenden 2007 Verdammung Höhe bis zum frühem Fall weiter.

Beschleunigte Phase II Entwicklung - die Entwicklung eines zweiten ähnlichkeit Eintritts (Tunnel) zur Ablagerung ist gut unterwegs. Der zweite Zugang verbessert sofort Ventilation und senkt Betriebskosten der unterirdischen Grube. Die Eintritte stellen auch Primärzugang für langfristige Entwicklung und geplante Expansion Phasen der MAXIMALEN Grube zur Verfügung.

Die Firma hat auch eine zusätzliche Kugelmühle erworben, z.Z. gelegen in Spokane, Washington, für zukünftige Expansion des reibenden Stromkreises der Mühle. Diese Maßeinheit, ein Harding 9.5 x 15, HP 700 Kugelmühle wird nach dem Produktion Start angebracht, der dadurch Flexibilität und Mehrleistung für den Betrieb der Mühle bereitstellt.

Maximum Erforschung-Programme 2007 - die Firma hat die Entwicklung einer unterirdischen Bohrgerätstation durchgeführt, von der ein neues Erforschungprogramm geleitet wird. Ein Diamantbohrgerät wird zum Aufstellungsort in ungefähr zwei Wochen mobilisiert, um ein Erforschungprogramm durchzuführen, das auf das bekannte Molybdenitehilfsmittel eingehend erweitern konzentriert.

Roca plant, der erste neue Primärmolybdänproduzent in Kanada zu sein. Der die Erlaubnis gehabte PHASE I Grube Plan für Maximum konzentriert auf die hochwertige Zone der Ablagerung, die 280.000 gemessen und die angezeigten Tonnen 1.95% MoS2 ordnend enthält (T.N. Macauleys auf 43-101 vom September 2004 vorhandenes des gefälligen technischen Reports über SEDAR sich beziehen). Molybdän z.Z. handelt im US$32 - Strecke 33/lb und ist eine Schlüssellegierung in der Herstellung der rostfreien und Spezialgebiet Stahle, einschließlich Rohrleitungen und andere energiebezogene Stahlinfrastruktur.

Eigenschaft Erwerb - die Firma unterzeichnete vor kurzem eine Bezugsrechtsvereinbarung, ein 100%-Interesse an 513 Hektars angrenzend mit seiner Zinn-Stadt-Eigenschaft zu erwerben (die vom 1. Dez. 2006 Firmanachrichten Freigabe sehen). Roca hat den Verkäufer $12.300 auf dem Unterzeichnen und, zum des Erwerbs durchzuführen gezahlt, zusätzlichen $100.000 zahlen und 50.000 allgemeine Anteile vor 5. Juni 2009 herausgeben muß. Die Eigenschaft ist abhängig von einer 2.5% Nettoschmelzer-Rückkehr, die bis 0.5% nach Zahlung von $1.5 Million verringert werden kann. Diese Verhandlung ist abhängig von TSX Wagnis-Austauschzustimmung.

Wer ein Moly-Fan ist, sollte schleunigst auf www.aktien-review.de gehen. Dort gibt´s eine 50 Seiten Studie über viele Molybdänwerte für gerade mal 100 Euro. Hab es mir mal bestellt und muß sagen, bin begeistert. Hier steht wirklich alles drin, was ich immer schon wissen wollte. Vor allem ist es ein Gesamtüberblick, so daß man Werte wie Moly Mines, Adanac, Roca oder United Bolero auch einmal miteinander auf einen Blick vergleichen kann. Bislang hat so etwas in diesem Stil noch keiner gemacht, und ich  finde, dass hier jeder Cent seinen Empfänger wert ist.

Diese Firma zeichnet für 2,5 Millionen Shares am gestrigen Tag als Käufer, etwa die Hälfte davon waren Crosstrades.
Bisher gibt es keinerlei Veröffentlichungen darüber, was bei Roca eventuell anstehen könnte.

A couple audience members raised concerns about the effect of effluents from the mine on local Gerrard Trout populations. One specific Trout Lake resident, Darryl Davis, was adamant that molybdenum is harmful to trout and claimed to have taken water samples, but had no results.

“Why didn’t you inform the public of how deadly moly is to fish,” Davis said, calling Broughton out.

“Because it’s not,” Broughton replied. Broughton went on to say the company had completed a biopsy on a rainbow trout in December and levels of molybdenum were in range, adding that allowable provincial levels are “way higher than our current guideline.”

Representative from the environmental group Friends of the Lardeau River, Grant Trower, was in attendance as well and asked Broughton why an environmental assessment was not triggered by the EAO considering the future impact of the mine.

“It did trigger a review,” said Broughton, explaining further documentation was sent to the Environmental Assessment Office but as far as they were concerned, with such a small additional footprint to the mine, it was not worth their time.

Ferro-molybdenum price jumps in Europe as LME contract nears

Ferro-molybdenum in Europe has jumped up in price as participants rush into the market to buy stocks before the launch of the London Metal Exchange's futures contract later this month, Steel Business Briefing learns from trading sources.
FeMo in warehouse duty paid Rotterdam is now trading around $36-36.50/kilogram (€26-26.35/kg), which is up from $32.80-33.10/kg last month and $27.50/kg the previous month, a trader tells SBB.
“There are now many investing in moly due to the LME contract coming on,” the trader says. “The LME contract will create new demand from financial companies,” he says, and he expects the price will rise higher once the contract launches on 22 February.
This is also the time the Chinese will be coming back to market after their new year and will be looking for material.
“The (LME) contract will put pressure on foundries and smaller operations, but it is likely to be good for big consumers,” another trader says. He also expects the price to pick up once the contract launches, but then “we'll see it correct itself”.

Cobalt and molybdenum futures started their first trading on the London Metal Exchange with a backwardation between three and 15 months settlement dates. DGAP-News: Optionsabkommen zwischen Cream Minerals Ltd. und Roca Mines wurde aufgekündigt

Kaum zu glauben, dass es in dem Laden noch jemanden gibt, der nachvollziehbare Entscheidungen trifft.
Hoffentlich kommt die Trennung von "Nuevo Milenio" noch rechtzeitig, denn Roca dürfte
an der Grenze zur Insolvenz angekommen sein. Im Mai hatten sie noch ganze 290.000 Can$ als Barmittel, und diese sollten inzwischen verbraucht sein.
Bei den gegenwärtigen Molypreisen können sie sich bei einem Gewinn von nur 1 Can$ pro Pound/lb mehr schlecht als recht über Wasser halten, ...und es stehen eine Menge von dringend nötigen Investitionen und Wartungen in der MAX-Mine an.

Es bleibt (wie so oft) nicht mehr als die Hoffnung auf steigende Molyppreise...

Offenbar gibt es keinerlei Unterstützung auf dem weiteren Weg nach unten.
Dass man es hier einmal mit einer aussichtsreichen und rentabel arbeitenden Firma zu tun hatte, ist erschreckend...

Roca Mines Inc has now received production reports and mill assays for the three months ended August 31st 2010. During the period, production originated from the 780 stope where, as reported previously, estimates suggested that the initial material mined was expected to be in the 0.35% Mo range. The mine continues to focus on its sampling methods, grade and dilution control to deliver the best possible head grades. Management believes that its experience within the main zone and planning for other zones will deliver more robust operating performance in the future.

In August and September 2010, the mine and mill were shut down for nine days as a result of an underground stope wall sloughing event between the 830 and 805 meter levels. An independent review was completed and highlighted that there were no issues with respect to re entering the mine and that the event was contained entirely to the inactive, non man entry stope. Milling operations resumed on September 4th 2010.

Development crews are now advancing on the 725 meter level and operations continue to work toward the Phase II 1,000 tonne/day plan. The development of multiple stopes in the Phase II plan will reduce the impact of single stope production difficulties encountered during 2009 and 2010.

Roca also announces the resignation of Ernest S. Peters from its board of directors who is leaving to devote more time to his other business interests. The Company thanks him for his years of service and wishes him success in his future endeavors.

“The mine has kind of been operating for several quarters to be a little bit better than even, so we’re basically just meeting our costs,” Broughton said. “Part of that was on purpose because we wanted to have a mine that was ready and poised when the price of molybdenum really surged. That was what the mine was built for. You can make very handsome profits when [molybdenum] prices are really strong.”

However, this means a shutdown can really affect their earnings, says Broughton. Investors will tide them over before they can get the mine operational again.

No one was hurt in the collapse. Broughton says they hope to resume operations in early November.

“We are all saddened by the fact that we’re down and there’s been this loss in employment for some people,” Broughton said.

The Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resource said they are currently investigating the cause of the collapse the will be issuing a report.

They confirmed no one was hurt and all workers were out before the collapse happened.

They also said the mine manager is currently developing a new plan to rehabilitate the area and ensure the safety of its workers before miners re-enter.

The MAX mine is located in the hills above Trout Lake. It mines and mills molybdenum, a metal used primarily in metal alloy mixtures.

Vancouver, British Columbia: Roca Mines Inc. (TSX-V: ROK) ("Roca" or "the Company") announces that crews have completed planned rehabilitation work at the MAX Molybdenum Mine. All of the mine bulkheads and landings within the ventilation/manway raise have been repaired and upgraded to ensure safety and improve efficiency of the ventilation system.

Crews have also completed the installation of new underground ventilation fans and associated equipment on the 950m level. The new system will facilitate ventilation of the lowest planned workings of the mine and meet the requirements for ventilation of all mobile diesel equipment.

The mine will return to a temporary shutdown through the holidays and crews will monitor equipment and underground pumping requirements during this period. The Company plans to conduct an inspection of the recent rehabilitation work and review all aspects of the mine with BC's Chief Mines Inspector and the mine's geotechnical consultants in January 2011. Updates on production timing and other planned activities for the MAX Molybdenum Mine will be provided in early 2011.

 Vancouver, British Columbia: Roca Mines Inc. (TSX-V: ROK) ("Roca" or "the Company") announces that a review meeting was held on January 31, 2011 with British Columbia's Chief Inspector of Mines and staff/consultants from the mines inspection branch to discuss development and operating plans for the MAX Molybdenum Mine.

The meeting reviewed geotechnical information related to the sill pillar failure that occurred in late September 2010. Discussions focused on mine rehabilitation work completed in December 2010 and the Company's plans to restart operations. It was agreed that the Company's proposal to locate a new sill pillar and to continue with production mining below that pillar were appropriate and were approved-in-principal, subject to certain conditions being met.

Those conditions include the development of a geotechnical program to survey the existing stope and to map the main ramp and manway. Assessment and modeling of the workings will result in an instrumentation and geotechnical monitoring plan for the upper portion of the mine. Similarly, a geotechnical program to assess the proposed sill pillar in the lower levels of the mine will result in a monitoring plan that is intended to continue through operations and will be adjusted depending on the observations made.

Information collected from the failure event and planned geotechnical programs will influence designs for stope spans, pillar dimensions and related mine design parameters. The geotechnical programs will commence during the week of February 7, 2011. An update on the timing of the mobilization of various drilling and mining contractors and mine crews to recommence production will be provided as soon as possible.

We have left our price forecasts largely unchanged from previously due to a similar supply/demand picture. Our forecasts for prices for 2011 to 2015 are based on the assessment thatthe market will need high-cost Chinese marginal primary capacity to meet incremental demand. This capacity needs prices in the US$13 –17/lb range, and costs will most likley rise in US$ terms. It is really only in 2014 and 2015, when Freeport-McMoran's (FCX US,US$99.88, Not rated) Climax primary mine is fully onstream, that prices may relax as reliance on this high-cost Chinese supply eases.
In the short run (next two years), prices should be stronger due to an expected market deficit and lower 2012 production from two of the larger players, Thompson Creek and Rio Tinto, due to lower Mo grades. Also extremely high copper prices will probably push the main copper by-product producers to maximise copper at the expense of molydenum grades in orebodies. There could well be some downside supply risk. In 2013-2015, however, the expansion at Kennecott plus higher production from Climax plus a number of likely greenfield projects should push prices lower again. Freeport says that its 30m lbs/year Climax primary mine will be ready from 2012 but says the actual startup date will depend on market conditions – we are assumining a 2H2012 start, after prices are sustained above US$20/lb once again.
Following a (revised) 50m lb surplus in 2009, we estimate that there was a 8m lb deficit in 2010 and a further 32m lb of deficts in 2011 and 2012 combined, followed by a relatively balanced market in 2013/14 until a larger surplus emerges in 2015.

Chinese market fundamentals will play a key role in the market going forward and are the key uncertainty. We assume trend demand growth rate of 7 –8% a year from 2011 to 2015. We assume mine output and capacity will continue to grow steadily but from 2011 onwards, China will be a growing net importer of molybenum. A higher Chinese growth rate and some restrictions on Chinese supply growth remain a possibility, pushing the market into an even larger deficit. Supply and demand outside China are still important. We estimate that demand outside China bounced back by 23% YoY in 2010, having fallen 25% in 2009 and 9% in 2008. We forecast that mine production outside China will grow at a reasonably rapid rate, with byproduct output up 11% this year after disruption but then fall back to 2% in 2012.
China is back to being a small exporter of moly.

Dass so gar keine Dynamik mehr vorhanden ist.......mmhhhhh 

... gibt es den Laden überhaupt noch? Oder existiert nur ne Website. Es ist jedenfalls keinerlei Bewegung erkennbar. Schade - ich dachte damals, als ich rein bin, seltene Erden seien zukunftsträchtig. Diese hier wohl eher nicht - oder??
