Asia Global Holdings Corp Reports Profitable Second Quarter; 45% Increase in Total Revenues and 228% Profit Increase in Media and Advertising Segment

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Asia Global Holdings Corp (OTC Bulletin Board: AAGH - News) announced financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2008. In the first six months of 2008 the Company's year-on-year revenues grew 45% to $4,362,285 with net income of $1,767,765. The increase is a result of increased sales from the Company's advertising and media business where it experienced a 228% increase in profits compared to the same period last year.
During the first half of 2008 the Company completely revamped its TV entertainment business strategy expanding its TV show catalogue to include over ten program formats for which its Idea Asia Limited wholly-owned subsidiary has exclusive distribution rights in China. Also during this period the subsidiary opened new negotiations with PRC TV broadcasters for the new shows and expects to gain distribution traction by the end of the year.
