• Attributable gold production:Produced 1.29 million ounces of gold, in line with the Company’s full year guidance
  
• Portfolio improvements: Completed the CC&V concentrates project in North America; commissioned the primary crusher at Merian in South America; advanced the Tanami Expansion 2 project to definitive feasibility study in Australia; formed a strategic partnership with Evrim Resources in the Cuale gold project in Mexico; expanded regional exploration activities with an investment in Orosur Mining and an opportunity to participate in Miranda Gold’s Lyra project in Colombia
• Financial strength: Ended the quarter with $3.1 billion cash on hand and net debt of $1.1 billion; an industry-leading balance sheet with investment-grade credit profile; and a quarterly dividend declared of $0.14 per share, an increase of 87 percent over the prior year quarter

Der Kaufpreis war günstig, auch wenn ich als Goldcorp Aktionär jetzt sauer wäre.
Wenn das so durch geht ist die Verwässerung bei Newmont absolut o.k.

BIG scheint der Deal nicht zu sein. Zumindest kommt der nicht gut an bei den Aktionären beider Produzenten! Sieht man am Kurs!

Bei GG scheinen viele enttäuscht zu sein. Verständlich! Und hier? Ich glaube nicht, dass eine Übernahme zu dem Preis stattfinden wird.
Was wenn Wer anderes mehr bietet? Der Kurs von GG würde profitieren und NM müsste drauf legen - ergo sackt der Kurs von NM weiter in den Keller...

Also doch: Analysten sehen mehrere mögliche Bieter für ein höheres Goldcorp-Angebot (u.a. Barrick, Agnico und weitere). Das wird spannend...  

•From the other side of the deal, Macquarie's Michael Siperico upgrades GG to Outperform from Neutral because another potential bidder could emerge, saying the negative market reaction to the deal is "a classic case of missing the forest for the trees."

•Given that NEM is offering a 17% premium as GG shares trade near a historic low, Siperico thinks the price was low and that Barrick Gold (NYSE:GOLD), Agnico Eagles Mines (NYSE:AEM) and other gold companies could afford to pay more for GG and still gain value.

•"I’m nominally a fan of the deal," Siperico says. "I’m just saying I can see more compelling reasons for an interloper to come over the top. It’s a relatively slim premium."

Wenn jetzt noch der Goldpreis mitzieht, dann gibt es kein halten mehr.

hat meiner Ansicht nach, auch wenn der Goldpreis wieder anziehen sollte, eher ein geringes Potential verglichen mit anderen Werten.

Was quasselt du eigentlich für einen Müll?

Ich glaube persönlich hast du ein Problem mit Dir selbst...
Und falls du hier mit Big Player ein Problem hast dann mach dich da nützlich wo du glaubst es wird dort, aber Wunder dich nicht falls mal eine Blase kommt das dann die kleinen auch schneller mal 30% am Tag fallen können. Aber Gier frisst bekanntlich Hirn und das ist bei Dir wohl der Fall....

Eh, nicht so aggressiv.

Erfahrungsgemäß haben eher Leute Probleme, die so aggressiv reagieren wie DU, also immer schön locker bleiben und seine Aggressionen im Griff behalten.
