As part of Paint the Town Red, White & Blue, we are delighted that you are interested in this program, designed to support New York City, during this very important period. For the first time ever, NYC & Company the Convention and Visitors Bureau , has put together travel packages, in response to the tragedy of September 11. For these very special travel packages, the entire New York City travel industry has come together to offer you unprecedented prices, choices and availability. This is our way of expressing our appreciation to you.
NYC Freedom Packages are designed to be simple, flexible and provide you with the Best of New York City. The three packages are for one night, two nights or four nights, and are offered in three price categories. A wide selection of top hotels, Broadway shows and restaurants are included in each program, with either a sightseeing tour or special value parking privileges. In addition, every package includes a donation to the Twin Towers Fund, and the Paint the Town Red, White & Blue Savings Card, offering important discounts at New York's museums, attractions and shops.
On the following pages, you will find full descriptions and prices for each package, all our hotel restaurant and theater choices, and details on how to make reservations and get additional program information.

PAINT THE TOWN RED, WHITE & BLUE NYC FREEDOM PACKAGES:
NYC & Company the Convention & Visitor’s Bureau has developed a campaign designed to generate immediate travel to New York City . “Paint the Town Red, White & Blue; NYC Freedom Packages” will consist of three incredible packages to be offered by all distribution channels and available from November 1, 2001 until March 31, 2002 . The concept of the promotion is to ensure that no matter where a consumer purchases one of these packages, the price and inclusions will be the same. The goal is to unify the tourism industry of New York City with the common goal of generating immediate business.
FORM OF PAYMENTS: American Express is the official credit card of NYC & Company. Packages may be purchased with MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, company checks and wire transfers.
CANCELLATION POLICIES:
All cancellations must be made with your Travel Agent or Yankee Holidays, not directly with individual suppliers. Cancellation fees are $50 per person if under deposit. Cancellation fees are $100 per person if received within 30 days of arrival. Cancellation fees are $150 per person if received within 15 days of arrival. Cancellations received within 3 days of arrival are non-refundable. Air ticket cancellations or changes will require additional charges. No refunds will be considered until all documents are returned to Yankee Holidays.
REFUNDS: Unused or partially used vouchers are non-refundable.
CANCELLATION WAIVER: Cancellation Waiver is available for $35 per person. Waiver covers 100% of every component of the reservation when canceled in full. Waiver does not cover rate changes incurred by number of passengers. Restrictions may apply in some holidays and special event periods. Client may cancel up to 12:00 noon Eastern Time on last business day prior to date of arrival for any reason.
LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS: Bookings are accepted within 5 business days of arrival. Reservations must be guaranteed at the time of booking with a credit card. Once payment has been received, a cancellation fee of no less than $100 per person will apply.
GROUPS: Although this promotion is designed mostly for individuals, certain hotels will allow groups to participate in this promotion depending on availability. Please note that group rates will be higher due to the mandatory baggage handling fee for New York City hotels. Contact your travel Agent or our group department at 1-800-343-6768 (or 978-922-7116) to customize a group with air, motorcoach or train.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be mailed to you or your travel agent if you reside in the USA . Travel documents for travel agents and customers from other countries will be mailed directly to the hotel and will be waiting for the clients upon check-in.
You should examine your documents upon receipt to insure information is correct. If documents are not received 10 days prior to departure, you must contact us or your travel agent immediately. If you fail to notify us, additional fees may apply.
CUSTOMIZING PACKAGES: You are encouraged to purchase other tour elements in conjunction with the NYC Freedom Packages. You can contact us if you wish to book additional elements such as extra Broadway shows.
THE FULFILLMENT CENTER 'S responsibility is to ensure proper reservations. Tour services are furnished by independent contractors. The responsibility of delivering service rests entirely with the providers of the service. Please contact us immediately if you have any problems on your trip. We will intervene to ensure your satisfaction. Acceptance of any tour package from us shall release Yankee Holidays from responsibility in any way for any injury or liability arising from the performance of, or failure to perform such services.
