Goh Hoe Hoe There are some who accused the Lynas factory of exporting waste to
Malaysia in the name of investment . Is that true ? Many knows that
Malaysia is a major exporter of tin ingot and tin products in the
world. But not many know that Malaysia is also a major importer of tin
as well, further more they dont even know that for years Malaysia has
been importing tin concentrate from Australia which also yield tin
slag as a by product. Based on this facts then Malaysia has been
importing waste from Australia. Sad to say that Miss Lee the DAP youth
vice chief is ignorant about that. But when the value of tantalum was
known , many has started to dig out tin slag buried underground for
tantalum. Tantalum is also a rare earth . Beside that the tin slag
found in Penang also contain thorium. When Penang was under BN , the
Pakatan and NGO allian to them had been questioning about the safe
level of Tin Slag for many times. But since Pakatan took over Penang
they have stopped asking this question . Does that mean their mindset
also change with the change in their status
Looking from another angle ,STOP LYNAS SAVE MALAYSIA logo itself is
ambigous and misleading . According to the Lynas Company , the
residue can be converted 100 % into useful products which are eco
friendly. So Stop Lynas Save Malaysia May means Stop Lynas from Saving
Malaysia , it may also means that LGE wants Malaysia People to eat
grass in future , and he wants to prevent Malaysia People from
progressing, deprive Malaysia People every opportunies of development

Dre Tamilwanan I trust scientific reasoning. Rare earth refining is beginning to become cleaner with new technology. We have to stop looking to the past and start thinking about what we are going to do in the future.
Lynas has the potential to bring us forward, and provided they adhere to the specified standards, they are most welcome in Malaysia.

Zul Khairil Azmi Dre i agree with you..those fools who thought that relying on old tech will get them somewhere is wrong...we need to look forward....sure there is a risk...but in everything we do there is always a risk...but its insignificant to nothing compare to the reward
