Absolutely a great result. The earnings are highly leveraged to moly prices. If we factor in current prices of $29.50 over the average realised price for the Q of $25, we will get additional $4.50X5.43M lb = $24M, or an additional EPS of $0.24.
Regardless, even at EPS 4 x 0.45 = $1.80, the P/E ratio is still less than 10, and this is very undervalued LächelnLächelnLächeln considering China Moly is currently trading north of 14X.
all imo, please do your own DD.
All the numbers published in the report are in $US.
So we get $0.45US fully diluted.
+ $0.28US (one time cost of inventory $$29.m divided by 105m shares).
Which gives us $0.73US
converted to Canadian thats $0.84 in Q1. aufmerksamaufmerksam
Plus they gave us guidance of production increasing from 21m lb's in 2007 to 27m lb's in 2008. Even if Moly stays put at $29, that should add $144m to the bottom line next year giving Blue pearl a 30% groth rate.
So:
2007 cash flow $5.00ish cdn aufmerksamaufmerksamaufmerksam
2007 earnings $3.60ish cdn aufmerksamaufmerksamaufmerksam
forward growth approx 30%
my short term target is $36cdn. aufmerksamaufmerksamaufmerksamaufmerksam

break down the quarterly numbers.....both the revenues and cash flow are simply outstanding..period.Thanks again Ian and your team....the Thompson Creek takeover was, without doubt, the coup of the decade.$20 looks like the near-term target on our way towards $25-$30.With a shrinking debt and rising moly prices our soon-to-be TCM should march towards a $3 Billion market cap.Hold long and prosper.

reporting in U.S. numbers is perfect in light of the name change and future U.S. listing. It's too bad but it would be nice to get a significant number of U.S. investors on board regarding the mining and oil sector (mining sector more)........I believe if U.S. investors bought in our p/e, cash flow multiples would be higher (across the board in these sectors) and thus our stock prices higher............from past posts u know y I feel that the tsx is kind of ignored by big U.S. investors.............good luck to all...........friday we ROCK and the rock is BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the meeting and asked one of the executives; I was told that US listing requires a longer company history which means 2 or 3 more quarters. Sorry can't recall his name.
