Health Insurance Innovations (HIIQ) Receives a Buy from B.Riley FBR

[Health Insurance Innovations (NASDAQ: HIIQ)] B.Riley FBR analyst Randy Binner maintained a Buy rating on Health Insurance Innovations (HIIQ – Research Report) today and set a price target of $45. The company’s shares closed last Monday at $23.48, close to its 52-week low of $16.26.
Binner observed:
“We recently hosted meetings with HIIQ management and investors and came away with a number of favorable takeaways. Overall, we continue to see supportive market M&A activity, good normalized cash flows, and the potential for a clear pivot to Medicare sales. This supports our Buy rating and $45 PT. HIIQ currently trades at 5.8x our 2019E EPS, compared to a broad base of peers at 17.6x. This discount is, in large part, the result of short-seller-focused blogs, tweets, and other reports, which, we believe, are inconsistent with good reported financial results and should be behind the company, as the Simple Health and FTC matters were resolved in 1H19.”
