The company announced that it has received a cash infusion of $400,000. The company intends to use this cash to fill outstanding orders for its products and continue validating its in-licensed diagnostic opportunities. (OTC BB: GLIF) announced today that it has signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Union Clinical Laboratory (UCL) of Taiwan, the leading laboratory serving the clinical diagnostics market in Taiwan--which represents a major milestone for progressing the Company's strategic plan to build a strong presence in global markets.
"We are very pleased to collaborate with UCL--the largest clinical reference laboratory that provides more than 30 percent of referral laboratory services in Taiwan--to validate our technologies. Grant has been focusing on the development of HPV (Human Papillomavirus) diagnostics, and we expect that UCL will play a critical role in validating our assays in collaboration with UCL-affiliated medical institutes that are designing and managing clinical trials with our products," said Hun-Chi Lin, Ph.D., Grant's President and Chief Scientist.
