I have no doubt that the source is right in his claim (except the magnitude of recovery)
Part of the source claim is the mandatory date of distribution after 6/30/21
What happened after 6/30/21 ?
Right after 6/30/21 KKR had exited the scene with more than 300% profit (invested a total of 225m and it did book a total of 830m)
TPG IPO including BONDERMAN assets came out at the beginning of 2022 and they received a total of 9.5b
At 2022 JPM offered notes value of 150b (still in progress) and I believe WAMU bonds payment is a part of this offering package
Since we legacy holders form 20% of what is returning to the bonds we should see our recovery at a time close to the bonds payment date if not simultaneously paid
All the actions mentioned above are a result of the source deadline of 6/30/21 and it is a sign that not much time left to find out our prize
I will add to those actions we don’t have to forget that JAIMY DIMON is retiring by the end of the year and I think his retirement is a sign of imminent closure to WAMU case at least from the JPM side of receiving their share of WAMU assets that will benefit his bonus payment
Finally I see the signs I mentioned above are powerful enough to believe that this saga is close to have an ending date..AIM
