By incorporating the Airborne(TM) module and a Li-ION battery, the ROMER CimCore INFINITE CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and INFINITE Scanning CMM offer 802.11b wireless connectivity in portable, easy-to-position metrology systems. Designed for inspecting, measuring or reverse-engineering workpieces on the shop floor or in the metrology lab, INFINITE systems find application in industries that include aerospace, automotive and heavy equipment.
