Aixtron- und die Banken stufen fröhlich auf kaufen

Wie ist denn die Meinung hier im Forum bezgl. der anstehenden Zahlen?

Wird Aixtron den Markt positiv überraschen in Form vom Ergebnis und/oder Auftragseingang mit daran anschließender Kurssteigerung oder dümpeln wir weiter in den nächsten Wochen zwischen 8,50-9,50€?

dass Aix so eine Info an einem Aktionär einfach so per email schickt, glaube ich niemals. Wenn denn das wirklich so ist, dann soll sich der Kunde gründlich überlegen, was NDA mit Aix wert ist.

so wie ich das verstehe hat Samung schon die News rausgehauen wer was wann (ich glaub gestern war das) , und somit konnte man diese Mail schreiben. Aixtron macht ja keine offizielle Meldung in Form von "nun ja sind nun doch nicht an board".
Samsung hat die News rausgebracht was sie derzeit mit wem machen,da ich davon ausgehe, dass die nicht ewig warten konnten, bis die Aixtron Maschine durch ist, wird erstmal mit Tikki angefangen, um überhaupt zu starten.

Hoffen tun wir alle das Aixtron seine OVPD durchbekommt. Obwohl es sich komisch anhört mit Tikki zu starten und dann später zu Aixtron zu wechseln. Aber vlt lohnt es sich einfach rechnerisch, wir kennen deren Kalkulation und Überlegungen nicht.

Ich hätte mich gefreut, wenn Aix schon durch wäre mit der Quali.

ich wundere mich auch ein wenig, das dann aixtron auch den namen samsung so offiziell in den mund nimmt. bislang hieß es " grosser asiatischer display hersteller ".
hat aixtron nicht gegenüber einen grossen unternehmen eine schweigepflicht ?

die schweigepflicht löst sich nicht auf wenn tikki startet und aixtron nachziehen soll.
also ich denke, entweder ist aixtron drin oder draussen. entweder gibt es eine schweigepflicht oder nicht.
auf der HV gab es auch keinen offiziellen kundennamen zu hören.

baillie oder DWS fond wäre und in der summe 14% der aktien von aixtron hätte, ich dann diese info hätte, mit sicherheit wesendlich schneller, würde ich meine anteile drastisch reduzieren und nicht aufstocken.
der freefloat ist nun mal stark zurück gegangen.
und wenn jemand wichtige infos erhält, eventuell auch mit kundennamen, dann sind die das.

Samsung hat mit der Nachricht letzendlich nur das bestätigt, was schon seit Monaten kursiert: 8.5G mit Tokki vorerst. Was danach passiert hat Samsung nicht gesagt und es gab auch keine konkete Spekulationen (zumindest waren mit keine bekannt). Somit ist ein möglicher Einsatz von OVPD nicht öffentlich gemacht worden. (oder habe Samsung Nakündigung nicht verstanden)
dewegen würde mich so eine Aussage seitens Aix sehr wundern.
in 2 wochen wird aber einiges klarer.

OVPD is a new platform with huge Total Addressable Market (TAM).  Why worry about whether it would be this or next Q?

Da können die LVs ja  noch 4 solch besch. Tage verkaufen.  Blöd das die immer so günstig an die Stücke drankommen und sich am Kurs höchstens was ins Minus dreht.

It was rumored that Samsung would start with Gen 8.5 and go to larger sizes in a second step.
CWL1  then explained that with FMM and bottom-up VTE Samsung could not reach sizes larger than Gen 8.5.

Afterwards we discussed/speculated about a technology run-off to get  to the order for the larger formats.

OVPD is still in the running, state of the art technology, cheap, uniform. Patience is not everyones virtue.

If OVPD is employed, there would be no need to cut the glass since one OVPD Gen 8.5 tool should do the job.  Furthermore, better uniformity, lower maintenance cost, higher deposition rate, tailored composition and interfaces for higher efficiency, lower material consumption. smaller tool size, etc.  

In the past, more than once Felix stated that OVPD has met all its promises verified by the customer.  At this stage (II), reportedly Samsung is focusing on optimizing the processes which takes time especially for a brand new platform.  It is not just the tool, but experimenting to identify and verify processing conditions on different precursor materials in this tool.  That is why complete OLED stacks are being made at the customer site, according to Felix.  It is an iterative process and there is no short cut. I would say the tool has already been "qualified".  There is no sign of any failure from OVPD not delivering its promises.  The remaining task is for Samsung engineers to specify the requirements for a Gen 8.5 tool including the automation of glass handling.  That means an order (stage III) with specifications and Aixtron would build it accordingly.  Nothing more and nothing less.

As I've said, there is really no new news.  Real news would come 10/25.  My opinion only.

My comments:
2 times excellent progress on blue, the mentioning of an emissive system, the half-sentence highlighted in red .....all very suspicious and my "speculation puzzle" the "OLED soup" is almost complete.
I would complete the half-sentence above like this.......hear that Samsung is happy with the material from a commercial perspective, we will start to talk about it.
"We have nothing to announce at this moment"........could also be a sentence from Felix.
For me they are both waiting for the same reason.

I don't know if a new blue is being considered.  If a new material is good, it should be be pretty quick for Samsung to screen and verify.  If continuing tweaking of the chemistry is still needed, then it is a long and uncertain journey.  It may still take at least a year.  Can Samsung wait?  Florescent blue precursor using VTE tool is well established.  There is less risk for Samsung to stay with the  established for the QD-OLED.  If a new blue is used, is Samsung employing the versatility of OVPD to maximize the benefits?  There is very little you can manipulate using VTE for improvements.  Evaluating new blue is probably the most guarded secrete of Samsung.  The recipe belongs to Samsung and APEVA most likely does not know and does not want to know anyway.  APEVA wants to just sell tools according to specs.

The device OVPD currently has good reliability for monochrome devices, but the stability of full color is not ideal.  Is this correct?

I don't know.  There was brief mentioning of that in a few old (Chinese) articles but no explanations were given.  I guess you've read them too.  Blue OLED is monochrome.

Vielleicht  wäre es an der Zeit dass man sich mal Gedanken macht ob eine Tochtergesellschaft wie Apeva nicht eine eigene HP haben sollte. Da könnte man dann versuchen in eigenen Worten die Vorteile der eigenen Technologie gegenüber den Alternativen darzustellen. Natürlich nur wenn dass NDA nicht darauf abziehlt gar nichts erzählen zu dürfen. Bei 6ns hat jede Tochter ne eigenen HP. Mit Link auf die Mutter.

kann man die nervöse Reaktion des Marktes schon verstehen ...

Ich bin aber sehr positiv gestimmt und lege Montag nachmal nach ... und dann geht es in den Winterschlaf. Wie baggo schon gesagt hat - hier ist viel Geduld gefragt.

1-2 Jahre können durchaus noch vergehen bis der Kurs oben angelangt ist. Ich denke aber, dass bei Bekanntgabe der Samsung-Order, der Kurs endlich in zweistelligen Regionen vordringt und dort auch bleibt ...

@BigBen, sorry noch mal für mein etwas forsches Posting letzte Woche...aber Du weißt ja, ich reagiere immer etwas allergisch wenn jeder Kursrückgang immer gleich mit kriminellen Machenschaften, Manipulation, etc. gleichgesetzt wird. Wahlweise sind es die LVs, die Analysten, die „vollen Banken“, die Zertifikate-Emittenten, die Iluminaten, etc. Dass irgendein Investor ggf einfach seine Position verkauft hat, kommt keinem in den Sinn.

Nüchtern betrachtet hat der Kurs doch einfach das widergespiegelt, was hier auch im Forum passiert ist: man ist mit Euphorie in das Samsung-Event reingelaufen und leider kam nicht die erwartete/erhoffte Überschrift, dass Samsung sofort Fantastilliarden in Apeva-Produkte stecken wird (darauf muss man eben noch ein wenig warten). Also leichte Ernüchterung im Forum wie auch im Kurs.

Bei dem anderen Punkt bin ich bei Dir: bei den Meldungen zu den LVs & Meldeschwellenberührungen nach oben erscheint die Kursentwicklung etwas „counter-intuitive“.

Zu dem Kommentar zum Barclays-Bericht: wie immer, warum sollte man Objektivität zeigen wenn es auch ohne geht? Es gibt momentan lt. Onvista 27 Analysten, die die Aixtron Aktie covern, davon sind 20 auf „buy“ und 5 auf „hold“. Schaue ich mir den aktuellen Kurs an, der ziemlich unverändert ggü einem Jahr zuvor liegt, dann muss man ganz objektiv konstatieren, dass die 5 „hold“ Analysten wesentlich besser lagen als die 20 Analysten, die auf „buy“ sind. Dass der Gesamtmarkt in der Zwischenzeit gut gestiegen ist, lasse ich mal außen vor. Also eigentlich müsste man über die andere Gruppe der Analysten lästern, aber das bedarf etwas mehr Objektivität. (Dass ich der Meinung bin, dass auf Sicht von 1-2 Jahren die 20 momentan besser liegen, muss ich wohl nicht erwähnen)

... ich hatte ja schon zuvor mal gesagt: "Eine Schwalbe macht noch keinen Sommer". Es läuft eben wie immer, Aixtron respektive Apeva sind zwar oft und lange dabei was eben nicht heißen muss, dass Sie auch an der Ernte beteiligt sind. Projekt hier, Joint Venture da, Beteiligung dort .... alles schön und gut aber es muss eben auch mal zu einem positiven Ergebnis kommen. Wie sagte ich bereits:".... am Schluß zählt nur was in den Büchern steht." und da sieht es derzeit noch immer nicht so aus, dass man überschwengliche Glücksgefühle bekommen könnte. Nur meine Meinung ...
