Aixtron- und die Banken stufen fröhlich auf kaufen

Samsung Geschäft bereitet mir leider ein wenig Bauchschmerzen. Das zieht sich ganz schön hin. Allerdings wenn Samsung über Investitionen berät, dann sollte vorher zumindest klar sein dass die Technik funktioniert.

pesser sein als die bisherigen Prognosen.......

Nein, Aufträge fallen nicht wie Laub von den Bäumen..... nicht für Investitionsgüter und besonders nicht für mehrere Systeme.

....und von welchen Zahlen wird hier eigentlich fabuliert?

I wonder why Dr. Felix Grawert was so confident that Aixtron would get an OVPD production system order this year, when he made such comment in February when Samsung has not finalized its decision on QD-OLED yet.  So either Felix was betting and willing to take the risk of being totally wrong later on, or  the OVPD system is not just for QD-0LED but other applications.  

In 41 days is the AGM .  The Q1 report comes on April 30th incl. a telephone conference.
Perhaps we get some answers or learn something there.

BTW: Samsung is making 5G modems too, but probably not for the iPhone

Maybe Samsung needs a new OLED line for these additional orders and maybe Felix already knew that Apple has accepted the samples made on the GEN 2.0 R&D line as "apple worthy" 

Something is happening: UDC (OLED) with over 50% increase in the last 2 months. Shovels during the gold rush times.

Economically Samsung would benefit much more using OVPD for smartphones, flexible OLED, etc. than for QD-OLED TV.  OVPD can overcome issues limiting the FMM applications for high resolution on large area.  In the capital market day presentation, there are info focusing on Gen 6 vs 6H, higher resolution application, etc..  I also think that Samsung's existing Canon Tokki machines have been largely depreciated after these years, so it makes sense to switch now.

Die Aktien werden nach schlechten Nachrichten aus der Wirtschaft nicht mehr abverkauft. Anscheinend wird endlich wieder die Zukunft gehandelt. :-)

Das ist nur eine Feststellung ... in den letzten Tagen gab es vermehrt schlechte Nachrichten aus der Wirtschaft und die Halbleiter sind trotzdem gestiegen ...

vor kurzem hätten solche Nachrichten noch deutliche Kursverluste "beschert"

Natürlich soll man den Tag nicht vor dem Abend loben ... aber ich bin fûr dieses Jahr wieder positiv gestimmt ...

"At present, GLC is building the first phase of GaN-on-Si epitaxial wafer factory in Dazu District, Chongqing. It plans to start mass production of epitaxial wafers in September 2019. The entire project is planned to have an annual production capacity of 240,000 pieces. Gallium nitride epitaxial wafer production line and annual production capacity of 360,000 pieces of GaN chip production and packaging and testing production line, with a total investment of about 5 billion yuan."

Interestingly, the company also just started a new Sanghai epi wafer site in Pudong this February :

"In February 2019, Ju Licheng Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established. In the Shanghai Pudong New Area Lingang Economic Zone, the base construction was started. So 120,000 wafers in Shanghai with 21 lines and 240,000 wafers in Chongqing (42 lines?). That's 63 MOCVD's total eventually after the projects complete?  As I have posted before, this company has been recruiting engineers with Aixtron equipment experience.

An Aixtron G4 or G5 can load eight 6" wafers per run.  Assuming 2 runs a day non-stop, that's about 5000 wafers per month, or 60,000 annually.  120,000 wafers annual capacity would need 20 MOCVD,  consistent with GLC's 21 lines statement.

Ju Licheng (GLC) was still recruiting Epitaxial Process Head (3) with Aixtron experience as of 3/18/19:

Das hört  und liest sich ja alles  sehr prächtig. Wollen wir hoffen, dass sich unsere Überlegungen und Kombinationen auch so oder ähnlich erfüllen.

Auf die Woche Rückblickend schauts echt gut aus, hab mit dem verlauf erlich gesagt nicht gerechnet.
Die LV scheinen sich weiterhin uneinig zu sein, einige versuchen den Kurs zu bremsen aber einer hat stark reduziert:

Wir kommen jetze auch in den Bereich wo aus dem + ein - bei den LV wird. Viele haben unter 9 noch weiter aufgestockt. Ab 10 dürften die meißten im - sein, ab 12 sind alle im - und dann wirds interessant, alles davor stört sie wohl nicht.

Dann lassen wir uns mal überraschen wie es nächste Woche weiter geht, ich hoffe die Kursrichtung geht auch nächste Woche weiter.

das kann ich mir wohl ersparen. die unternehmensführung wird sich schon äussern wenn konkretes vorhanden ist.
bislang kommt hinsichtlich apeva - ovpd nichts negatives. somit nehme ich an, das man weiter an dem projekt arbeitet.
ich denke wir werden bald erfahren wie der stand der dinge ist.

ja mit den Q4 Zahlen 2019 wirst du davon hören. Du glaubst nicht ernsthaft, dass man vorher von der IR was liest dazu. Wenn man schon nur "mehrere" Anlagen im Text erwähnt. :-(
Andere liefern da richtige Umsatzvoluminas und bewegen damit  auch was im Kurs.
Hier hat man aber die Variante, wir liefern lieber super Zahlen und sind vorher  lieber leise, gewählt. Wie super das Funktioniert, sieht man an Q4 2018. Sehr gute Strategie, da die Zahlen von Gestern keinen Anleger oder Fond mehr hinter dem Ofen vorlocken, seien sie auch noch so gut.

Ist wie das stille Lieschen auf dem Wochenmarkt, mit der allerbesten frischen Bioware und dem Schreihals Peter, der sein chemieverballertes Gemüse lauthals ankündigt.  Wer wird wohl mehr verkaufen??
Tja warten wir weiter auf die Q Zahlen und erfreuen uns am starken abgeschlossenen Quartal. :-)
