Ein riesiger markt.die airline expandiert aus den news dass ich gelesen habe.nicht bundesländer sondern ganze länder erschliesst die airline.ein land nachdem anderen,natürlich gibt es ausgaben um gewinne zu erzielen,deshalb seh ich upside potenzial.revenues steigen!

...die Story ähnelt der der Easyjet. Und wo diese heute steht kann man sich anschauen

Ist natürlich in der aktuellen Situation ein großer Vorteil für fastjet :-)

Fuel
The fuel price in January will provide a further 13 percent reduction on December prices.  The Company expects further reductions in February and March as the recent falls in the price of crude oil continue to flow through to African aviation fuel supplies.  As stated last month, fastjet does not currently pre-purchase or ‘hedge’ its future fuel price.  The Company pays current market rates for its fuel and is therefore realising substantial benefits from the reduction in the cost of crude oil.

Die Internationale Energieagentur geht nicht davon aus, dass der Ölpreis demnächst steigen wird. Trotz des niedrigen Preises werde die Nachfrage niedrig bleiben. Besonders pessimistisch ist ein russischer Konzernchef.

Paris. Trotz des niedrigen Ölpreises erwartet die Internationale Energieagentur (IEA) bis auf weiteres keinen Anstieg der Nachfrage. Die Organisation erklärte am Freitag, die allgemeine Schwäche der Wirtschaft gleiche den Effekt der niedrigen Preise aus. Zwar gebe es Zeichen für eine Wende bei den Ölpreisen, doch würden sie kurzfristig wohl weiter fallen, erklärte die IEA. Der Ölpreis ist angesichts der schwachen Nachfrage und eines Überangebots seitens der Produzenten seit Juni um 60 Prozent gefallen und hat inzwischen ein Sechs-Jahres-Tief erreicht.

„Eine Aussage, wie tief der Boden des Marktes liegt, ist reine Spekulation“, erklärte die IEA. „Ohne größere Störung dürfte eine Erholung der Preise nicht bevorstehen, doch mehren sich die Anzeichen, dass sich die Flut wendet.“ Eine Änderung werde von der Angebotsseite ausgehen, da die Ölkonzerne neue Projekte zurückstellten und Jobs strichen. Dies werde sich aber nur längerfristig auswirken. Bei der Nachfrage scheine mit wenigen Ausnahmen wie den USA derzeit kein Anstieg zu erwarten, da die wirtschaftliche Gesamtlage schlecht sei.

An der New Yorker Börse wurde am Donnerstag das Barrel Öl zu 46,25 Dollar (39,50 Euro) gehandelt, während die Nordseesorte Brent in London bei 48,35 Dollar pro Barrel stand. Der Chef des russischen Ölkonzerns Lukoil, Wagit Alekperow, sagte am Freitag, der Ölpreis könnte auf 25 Dollar pro Barrel fallen. Er rechne damit, dass die Preise das ganze Jahr über unbeständig blieben. Wegen des Preisverfalls sowie der Auswirkungen der westlichen Sanktionen wegen der Ukraine-Krise ist der russische Rubel eingebrochen, der Wirtschaft droht eine Rezession.

Fastjet passenger numbers up 78% in January

Tanzania-focused low-cost carrier Fastjet saw a surge in passenger numbers in January, which is normally the quietest month each year for airlines.

A total of 55,695 passengers were carried last month on a load factor - a measure of how full planes are - of 69%.

This was a 78% jump in passenger numbers from last year, while the load factor improved by nine percentage points.

"January is traditionally the month of the year when airlines see the lowest consumer demand. We are therefore very pleased with our trading figures as we build upon our market leading position in Tanzania," said Fastjet's interim chairman and chief executive Ed Winter.

Analyst Amisha Chohan from Sanlam Securities said that Fastjet is "delivering excellent growth trends".

Chohan reckons that the airline will continue to benefit from lower fuel prices, which have already fallen by 13% since December 2014. "As a reminder, it does not currently pre-purchase or 'hedge' its future fuel price," she said.

The stock was up 3.9% at 1.35p by 08:42.

Fastjet February carryings up by 50%

African low-cost carrier Fastjet saw February carryings from its Tanzanian operations rise by 50% to 52,801.

The airline paid 13% less for fuel in February over the previous month, representing a 37% cut compared to February 2014.

Fastjet achieved a load factor of 70% in the month with 96% of flights arriving on time.

Passenger numbers for the year to February were up by 68% to almost 640,000.

Interim chairman and chief executive Ed Winter said: "With a 50% increase in passengers we continue to see great year on year growth achieved by increased utilisation of our aircraft.

“As we approach Easter and peak summer months we will be adding even more capacity on existing routes and expanding our route network."

Sieht ja aktuell nicht so gut aus. Die letzten Tage waren suboptimal. Wie geht´s weiter. Endlich nach oben ?????

Wie geht´s weiter ?? So langsam aber sicher müsste es doch mal steil nach oben gehen ?!?!

So, jetzt gibt`s hier die nächste Kapitalerhöhung - und die wird heftig. Zum Glück bin ich schon lange nicht mehr investiert, aber ich finde es nach wie vor interessant, die Story zu verfolgen :-)

Solenta wird damit zum Teilhaber über 28% an den "Resten" der Airline. Es erschließt sich mir nicht, wie man für die Reste der Gesellschaft noch 19 Mio USD hergeben kann, aber Solenta kennt den Markt in Afrika genau und wird schon wissen, was sie da tun...
