GEM HEALTH's flagship product GEM SLEEP is now accessible through Sleep Number Corporation's new BreatheIQ digital sleep health app, providing a seamless connection point for users.

MINNEAPOLIS, March 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Gem Specialty Health, Inc. (GEM HEALTH), the nationwide virtual specialty care company transforming sleep care, announced today that it has partnered with Sleep Number Corporation (Nasdaq: SNBR) to provide a seamless connection to GEM's virtual sleep care.

Users of Sleep Number's newly introduced BreatheIQ can easily connect to GEM SLEEP to start a care journey.

GEM HEALTH's flagship offering, GEM SLEEP, provides end to end virtual care for individuals potentially suffering from obstructive sleep apnea. GEM SLEEP performs clinical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment set up and support without a patient having to set foot in a clinic. The Company's aim is to provide a simple, consumer-friendly option for the estimated 80% of individuals with undiagnosed obstructive sleep apnea; recognizing that untreated sleep apnea is associated with significant health conditions including stroke, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

With Sleep Number's newly introduced BreatheIQ, a digital sleep health app that helps users understand their snoring and potential implications of snore-related breathing irregularities, users of BreatheIQ will have an option to easily connect to GEM SLEEP to start a care journey. BreatheIQ can be used with or without a Sleep Number® bed; Sleep Number also offers core offerings of smart beds and smart adjustable bases that help to reduce nighttime snoring.

"Advancements in breathing irregularity detection, such as those made by BreatheIQ, are critical to raise awareness of chronic sleep conditions," said Brian Sauer, Founder and CEO of GEM HEALTH. "As individuals develop awareness, they must also have a clear next step to get to appropriate medical care. We are thrilled to partner with Sleep Number to offer this option to BreatheIQ users."

GEM SLEEP's approach to care gets patients to care in days, rather than weeks or months, while lowering costs for patients and insurers. GEM's services are in-network with health plans covering 53 million Americans, providing broad access to care services.
