BROOKLYN, N.Y. and WALTHAM, Mass. and LONDON, Oct. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- National Grid employees in the U.S. and U.K. joined forces for the first Grid for Good Global Day of Service, working side-by-side with local partners to strengthen neighborhoods through hands-on volunteer projects. The initiative focused on expanding opportunities where they matter most – in the local communities.
From September 29 to October 3, over 1,500 National Grid volunteers took part in more than 70 projects that included:
National Grid's Grid for Good Global Day of Service is part of the company's social impact and community engagement initiative, dedicated to making a positive difference in the communities it serves. This program is guided by three pillars – increasing access to affordable energy, developing the energy workforce and supporting community resilience.
