Imagis Selected By U.S. Homeland Security Monday June 13, 7:31 am ET VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 13, 2005) - Imagis Technologies Inc. ("Imagis") (TSX VENTURE:WSI - News; OTCBB:IMTIF - News; DE:IGYA) announced today that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has procured software licenses for the company's flagship integration toolkit and servers, the Briyante Integration Environment. The Purchase Order, for an amount in excess of CAN$350,000, was received on behalf of the DHS Metadata Center of Excellence. ADVERTISEMENT Imagis software licenses will be delivered with consulting and training services and will be used to design and deploy a metadata (data describing data) repository and a federated query information sharing capability. The extensive competition to provide DHS with these capabilities included most of the major metadata repository vendors.
