The founding members of IPP include:

  • Ariginal, a wholly Indigenous-owned and operated IT consulting business.
  • Veeam® Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, specializing in helping organizations ensure their data and AI are fully understood, secured, and resilient to enable the acceleration of safe AI at scale.
  • Tsunati, a pioneer in Solution Enablement Education (SEE), elastic workforce, Data & AI tech development.

IPP will provide training, certification, and workforce placement opportunities in critical IT domains like data resilience and cyber security, beginning with Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) certification. This initiative addresses longstanding barriers to entry for Indigenous peoples seeking careers in technology, including limited access to advanced education or structural employment inequities that include mobility and remote access.

"As an Indigenous-owned company, Ariginal is proud to stand as a founding member of IPP. We believe Indigenous people should not only participate in but lead the next (Next Aktie) wave of technology innovation. This initiative will ensure that our communities have the skills, certifications, and opportunities to thrive," said Wayne Kaboni, Founder & CEO at Ariginal.

"Veeam is committed to building inclusive pathways into technology. By providing access to our VMCE and other certification programs through IPP, we're helping Indigenous communities gain highly marketable skills that lead to long-term, rewarding careers in data resilience, AI trust and beyond, which are increasingly important in an AI-powered world," said Matthew Bishop, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Veeam.

"Tsunati's mission has always been to make complex technology more valuable, useable, accessible and actionable. Through IPP, we're extending that mission by creating an elastic bench of Indigenous-certified professionals who are job-ready from day one of earning their technical badge. This is how we will ensure that education and enablement lead directly to potential opportunity," said Stoney Hall, President & CEO at Tsunati.
