In September 2019, Palatin’s Board of Directors approved a plan to offer to purchase and terminate certain outstanding common stock purchase warrants through privately negotiated transactions. This initiative was undertaken to reduce or minimize hedging or shorting strategies of certain warrant holders. The purchase and termination program have no time limit and may be suspended for periods or discontinued at any time.

Palatin has a pretty significant short position. And we're very confident that we're – that we have the data that a number of our warrant holders have and continue to use the warrants for shorting, to cover their to cover their shorting there

our plan was to – is to reduce and minimize that strategy. So the – in a nice way, you'll also know who the – who those types of funds are. So we've been targeting those funds a bit more than the others. So the plan, Joe, what I'm trying to get across is we're not looking to take out all the warrants, we're just looking to the warrants that we think are affecting the share price. And if we can get the right value for that, then we will continue to buy back those warrants and retire the warrants accordingly.

haben Palatin Shortpositionen, das sagen sie doch immer in den Calls. Damit gewichten sie das Shortengagement der Warrantsholder aus , eine Art Hedging. Die kaufen dann die Warrants anderer zurück und ziehen die somit aus der Nummer raus. Also die , die noch länger laufen. Die anderen "Kurzläufer" jucken bald eh nicht mehr.

Das ist im wesentlichen die Aussage Palatins ...

Denkst du wir bekommen heute neue info?

Die Aussage das sie nicht den schnellsten Partner suchen sondern den passenden Partner AMAG ist ja schön und gut aber die Firma kommt net in der Kategorie passend hoffentlich wird es bei anderen deals nicht das gleiche passieren  

darum, dass das ne neue Info ist , sondern um den Fortschritt dazu. Letztlich ist der Kursverfall ja auch auf Warrantwandlungen zurückzuführen. Es ist wichtig zu erfahren, wie man Stand JETZT mit den Warrants dasteht. Wenn der Newsflow zu neuen Verpartnerungen beginnt, bremsen weniger Wandlungen halt auch eben weniger den Kurs aus.

hat nicht die Sales Force für eine ordentlich Vermarktung, die Vermutung ist nicht taufrisch. Da gabs schon in der klinischen Forschung erhebliche Zweifel, aber soweit spielen viele das selten, die Ahnung davon haben.  Klar auch wieder, dass die Analysten mal wieder mit den Umsatzschätzung total daneben lagen...166 Mio wurden zb mal in den Raum geworfen.. So viel ist mit einem Nischenprodukt wie dieses einfach nicht zu erwirtschaften. Irgendwas mittleres zweistelliges zwischn 25-40 Mio. bei ordentlichem Rollout scheint da realistischer für USA.  Die Resourcen für so einen Auftritt haben Amag nicht. Und die werden Makena wohl eher weiter ausbauen , das läuft einigermaßen bei denen, wobei der Laden selber in der Summe nicht wirklich rund läuft.

Man sieht allerdings auch, dass das Vertrauen in AMAG schwindet. Die Investition in Palatin war nicht ohne ...das waren mal eben über 80 Mio Gesamtinvestition damals.

Genau das verstehe ich nicht das alles war vorhersehbar, aber warum wird das jetzt alles so negative dargestellt.

manche hier den AMAG Deal für überzogene Vorstellungen genutzt habe, um den Kurs zu pushen...und nun mit der Enttäuschung leichtgläubiger spielen. Als Palatin über einen Dollar war, kamen unseriöse Kursziele wie 6 Dollar. Das entbehrte jeder Grundlage. Wie soll Palatin nur aus den Royalties Dritter so eine MK hinbekommen mit eigentlich nur einem Med zur Vermarktung ?

Nun ist das Sentiment genau umgekehrt und alle tun so, als wäre nichts positives mehr übrig.

Ich hab damals hier auch 140 %  mitgenommen, aber irgendwann wird's absurd mit der Bewertung. Die jetzt halte ich auch für absurd, aber so wird mit Emotionen an der Börse gspielt.
