Obwohl für mich Bougainville Copper Aktien 852652 (US BOCOF.PK)u. ADRs 867948 (US BOCOY.PK) den gleichen Wert besitzen (beide repräsentieren 1 Bougainville Copper) gibt es bei der Kursstellung in D gravierende Unterschiede.

Obwohl beide Gattungen auch in USA gehandelt werden,kann man nur die ADRs ohne Lagerstellenwechsel gewinnbringend nach USA crossen.

So wurden heute in USA 353 K ADRs zwischen 0,75 u.0,80 USD oder 0,5395 u.0,5642 € gehandelt,was lockere 10% über D Kurs ist.Ein Grossteil davon dürfte von den ESBC stammen u.so dem hiesigen Markt wieder entzogen sein.

Eine heutige Kauforder in AU von 300K a 0,95 AUD 0,5911 €  wurde nur zu 2/3 bedient.

Jetzt fehlen nur noch die  erwarteten  weiteren positiven Meldungen aus Bougainville u. die Chartausbrüche über 1 AUD,0,80 USD,0,60 € u.0,50€ (ADR).An allen Marken wurde schon erfolgreich gekratzt.Der nächste Schritt sollte eine Stabilisierung darüber sein

Ob jetzt Aktie oder ADR am besten performt bis Jahresende,lassen wir uns überraschen ;-)))))))))

COMPANY UPDATE
In Q1 2025, the board of Bougainville Copper Limited (ASX:BOC) (BCL) commenced
a confidential selection process to investigate the potential to introduce a capable
international mining partner to assist in the redevelopment of the Panguna Mine,
with the endorsement of the Autonomous Bougainville Government (ABG). This
strategic partnering process was managed by Grant Samuel, an international
financial advisory firm.
Lloyd Metals & Energy Ltd. (LMEL), a company registered in India, initially engaged
in the selection process but later withdrew and signed a non-binding Memorandum
of Understanding with the ABG in November 2025, bypassing the BCL selection
process.
In December 2025, CMOC Group Limited (CMOC), a company registered in People’s
Republic of China and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock
Exchange, was selected by the board of BCL (Board) as the preferred mining partner
based on factors including its track record developing large scale copper projects in
developing economies.  The Board formally advised the President of ABG on 5
December 2025 of the Board’s decision in support of CMOC, seeking his
endorsement and ratification by the Bougainville Executive Council.  
On 28 January 2026, the President of ABG advised BCL’s Chairman that, as majority
shareholder in BCL (ABG controlling 72.9% of issued shares in BCL), he does not
support the Board’s recommendation to engage CMOC as the preferred mining
partner to redevelop Panguna Mine and rather prefers LMEL for this role.  At the
date of this announcement, BCL does not have any information regarding the
proposed basis of involvement or investment by LMEL in the Panguna Project.
Senior representatives from BCL and CMOC are continuing efforts to engage with the
President of ABG ahead of an ABG cabinet meeting to be held in several weeks and
remain hopeful of securing the support of the President of ABG and the Bougainville
Executive Council.

Ist (US) Inder und Chef der Weltbank, na „rings a bell“  

Man kann sich das eigentlich nicht mehr schön reden. ABG und BOC kommunizieren wohl nur noch über die Presse oder ad-hoc Mitteilungen, jeder seriöse Investor oder Top Mining Company tut sich das nicht an (ABG schient auch ziemlich beratungsresistent zu sein) ..... Also kommen nur China-Investoren oder Inder in Frage. China vergibt selbst mehr Kredite an Emerging Markets als die Weltbank, aber die Konditionen sind hart .... wenn ABG nicht verwässern will, werden wir  das ja auch nicht. Klingt erstmal gut. Wie sollen aber neue Investoren, Mining Funds, etc. dann überhaupt investieren, bei dem geringen Free-Float ? Ein börsennotiertes "private markets" Staatsunternehmen sozusagen ...  spannend ist nur noch, welche nächste Katastrophe um die Ecke kommt.... mann oh mann .....

What’s going on here?

Bougainville Copper’s effort to bring in China’s CMOC to help redevelop Papua New Guinea’s Panguna mine hit a hurdle after Bougainville’s president signaled a preference for India’s Lloyd Metals, sending shares down 12% Friday.

What does this mean?

Bougainville Copper told investors the Autonomous Bougainville Government (ABG) president doesn’t support its potential deal with CMOC. That’s a big deal because the ABG owns about 73% of Bougainville Copper, so it can effectively decide which partner gets the inside track. The president reportedly favors Lloyd Metals & Energy, which joined Bougainville Copper’s partner process, later withdrew, then signed a non-bi..

nding memorandum of understanding with the ABG in November 2025 – which Bougainville Copper says went around its process. Bougainville Copper also says it doesn’t know what Lloyd’s proposed investment would look like, which leaves the market bracing for delays and tougher negotiations.

Why should I care?

For markets: Mining projects move at the speed of approvals.

Panguna might be about copper, but the selloff shows investors are pricing governance risk as much as geology. When a majority owner can lean against a preferred partner, funding costs can creep up and timelines can stretch – especially if multiple bidders are in play. Bougainville Copper and CMOC say talks with the ABG are ongoing ahead of an ABG cabinet meeting expected in a few weeks, but until there’s alignment, the project’s execution risk stays front and center.

Zooming out: Local control can outweigh global capital.

Big extractive projects tend to succeed only when the operator, financiers, and political stakeholders want the same thing. Even a non-binding MoU can shift leverage by signaling an alternative route and forcing the original sponsor back to the table. And when the company itself says it lacks details on that alternative, investors usually assume more uncertainty around economics, timelines, and who ultimately calls the shots.

So wie ich das Geschäftsmodell von LMEL verstehe basiert das auf einer Kombination von Fremdkapitaleinsatz und eine prozentuale Beteiligung an den Mining-Erlösen. Die kann sich LMEL vertraglich zusichern lassen, ohne dass es hier eine direkte Beteiligung an BOC braucht, BOC bleibt aber insofern im Spiel als sie über die Mining-Lizenz verfügen, an diesem Umstand kommt auch das AGB als Hauptaktionär nicht vorbei. Ich bin mir nicht mal sicher, ob LMEL ein gesteigertes Interesse an einem Eigenkapital-Anteil hat, das AGB scheint das ja sowieso ausschließen zu wollen, es steht ja die Aussage im Raum, dass man nicht verwässert werden will. Viel entscheidender ist mE zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt, dass wir eine positive Finanzierungsaussage von der Weltbank o.ä. bekommen, dann steigt der Aktienkurs von selbst. Insofern ist ein hoher Aktienkurs am Schluss Ergebnis inhaltlicher Fortschritte aber keine zwingende Vorbedingung.

Ok, das ABG keine Chinesen im Boot haben wollen, ist gut verständlich,
aber was ist das für ne Kommunikation ?????

Eigentlich muß man sich nun mal selbst am Wochenende in die gemütliche Ecke setzen und sich ernsthaft überlegen, ob man aussteigen will (oder sogar muß).
Kann da noch irgendetwas vernünftiges bei raus kommen.  (ich bitte um "positive" Sichtweisen)

Was haben die  BCL Oberhäupter  eigentlich noch zu tun  (außer  MarionettenPuppen zu spielen).

Ich wünsche denen da unten für die Zukunft ein etwas glücklicheres Händchen,

ja, ich muss anerkennen, dass der gute Wille bei allen ABG-Mitarbeitern und BCL-Mitarbeitern vorhanden ist.

Aber ich muss auch anerkennen, dass es einen guten Grund hat, warum Hochschul-Studiengänge wie Kommunikation, BWL, VWL, Mineralogie, Politikwissenschaft jeweils viele Semester dauern, und selbst gute Studenten bei den vielen Klausuren durchfallen können.

Welchen Weg muss ein Mensch gehen, wenn er auf einer großen Goldmine wohnt, diese Mine ausbeuten will, aber die Kontrolle über das Ausbeuten an keiner Stelle teilen will? Irgendetwas delegieren schließt sich mit dieser inneren Haltung aus. Die Gefahr, dass der Kontrollbedürftige die Kontrolle verliert, ist leider gegeben.

Wie können wir dem ABG-Präsidenten helfen, wie können wir ihn unterstützen?

Das ABG ist Eigentümer von ca. 73% aller BCL-Aktien.
Und dennoch nehmen immer noch einige Bougainville-Bürger BCL als ausländische Macht wahr.
Wie kann das sein, was ist da in der Wahrnehmung los?

... viele Leute geben, die die auf Bougainville handelnden Akteure erheblich besser kennen als ich.

Aber @Longwilli, zu Deinem "Wie kann das sein, was ist da in der Wahrnehmung los?":

Kann es sein, dass meine europäisch-westliche Wahrnehmung eine völlig andere ist als die unserer Verantwortlichen vor Ort ... in der dortigen kulturellen Welt? Und dass ich deshalb nicht in der Lage bin, alles zu verstehen, was sich dort ereignet, wie man dort interagiert?

Und kann es darüber hinaus sein, dass es auch dort für ein Gelingen so etwas braucht, von dem wir sagen: Die Chemie stimmt zwischen den Entscheidern? Und zwar als zwingende Voraussetzung dafür, dass zwei oder mehrere "Alphatiere" überhaupt in der Lage sind, Differenzen zu überbrücken und zu einem guten Ergebnis zu gelangen?

Frage: Ist das der Fall? Ich habe Zweifel ...

Ich gehe davon aus, dass man eine Lösung finden wird, wenn auch vielleicht nicht die ideale.
Es kann aber durchaus sein, dass dafür noch ein Rücktritt in der Führungsriege von BCL stattfindet. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich so arbeiten wollen würde. Im Moment arbeiten da 2 Kapitäne auf einem Schiff und das ist nicht gut.
Es ist an der Zeit, dass die Kapitäne miteinander reden. Im geschlossenen Kreis. Ohne Presse.

Nicht nur die Küche schmeckt mir bei den Indern besser.

Wenn die Alternative zwecks 6 Milliarden Finanzierung eine Kapitalerhöhung mit gigantischer Verwässerung durch die  Chinesen oder eine Finanzierung durch Vorwärtsverkäufe von Kupfer und Gold an die Inder  wäre, wie hättet ihr dann an Toroamas Stelle entschieden?

Ja- es ist in der Tat möglich, dass Togole das BCL-Schiff verlässt.
Und dennoch wird BCL dann weiter bestehen.
Es git ja bereits seit Jahren einen Vorstand von der AGB bei BCL.
Durch einen Wechsel wird dann endlich auch die lokale Bevölkerung dann besser verstehen, dass BCL nunmehr zum Großteil den Menschen aus Bougainville gehört.
Der Strategische Ansatz von Präsident Toroama das Eigentum am BCL zu halten und nicht zu verwässern und stattdessen eine Art Auftragsbergbau duch Dienstleister zu erwirken ist aus strategischer Sicht absolot richtig.

Und ja - es ist ein interessantes Leben mit unserem gemeinsamen Baby.
Aber ich bin vom Happy End überzeugt.
Die Story gleicht einem spannendem Film...

LEVEL 7 HOSPITAL LAUNCHED
Today, Bougainville marked a significant and momentous event as people in Central Bougainville gathered to witness the laying of the foundation stone for a Level 7 hospital in Arawa.
The ceremony was held at the old hospital site, attended by members of the public, ministers and members of the ABG, departmental heads, hospital staff from Arawa General Hospital, and representatives of Lloyds Metal and Energy Limited (LMEL).
The event was also witnessed by two National MPs, the Member for Central Bougainville, Jimmy Miringtoro, and North Bougainville MP, Francesca Semoso.
The launch follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ABG and LMEL in November last year.
In his address, President Ishmael Toroama emphasised the importance of the collaboration between LMEL and his government, stating that it will not only support healthcare but also contribute to long-term development.
He said that as the region strives for independence, this partnership will bring much-needed resources and expertise to improve healthcare services.
Lloyds Metal and Energy Limited Managing Director, Phrabhakaran, said his company is committed to supporting Bougainville by providing high-quality healthcare services.
He reassured the people of Bougainville that these services will be delivered on time so that residents can access quality healthcare right at their doorstep.
The partnership between ABG and Lloyds will create more development opportunities for Bougainville, as well as deliver social services that will also benefit the women of Bougainville.
The new hospital is welcomed by the people of Central Bougainville as fir years, they had to travel to Buka to access health services.
This is one of the steps the Governent is taking in improving health services in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville.
