This gives you the $450 market cap.

Now realistically

WBJV is arguably worth double (add $260) and Waterberg now should be worth about $70mil...with a 12 to 24 month value of 20 mil oz times $40 for $800 mil.

So my valuation says PTM is worth $770mil ($1.90 per share) now and $1,570 ($3.90) within two years.

Die Psychologie hinter der »bullish engulfing« - Formation: Die Bären zwingen den Markt am zweiten Tag deutlich nach unten und die Lage sieht zunächst hoffnungslos aus. Wer am zweiten Tag auf der Short-Seite einsteigt, wird auf dem völlig falschen Fuss erwischt und wird im Laufe des Tages die Position schließen müssen. Da diese Formation meist in der Nähe ener Unterstützung auftaucht, werden die Bullen nach dem ersten Hoffnungsschimmer einsteigen und den Markt nach oben bieten. Der Doji ist wohl die wichtigste Einzelkerze, die ein Trader kennen sollte. Fast ebenso wichtig sind die Kerzen Hammer und Hanging Man (der Gehängte).

Diese beiden Kerzen werden oft miteinander verwechselt, weil sie gleich aussehen. Sowohl der Hammer als auch der Hanging Man weisen einen sehr kleinen Kerzenkörper auf. Im Idealfall haben sie keinen Docht (oder allenfalls einen sehr kleinen Docht). Die Lunte des Hammer oder Hanging Man muss mindestens doppelt so lang sein wie der Kerzenkörper. Je länger die Lunte ist, desto größer ist die Bedeutung dieser Kerzen.

Vielleicht sind »Hammer« und »Hanging Man« die beiden bekanntesten Candlesticks überhaupt. Der Hammer ist eine Kerze im Abwärtstrend, die gekennzeichnet ist durch einen relativ kleinen Kerzenkörper beliebiger Farbe und einen längeren Schatten. Der »Hammer« signalisiert ein intraday-reversal, bei dem die Bullen ein gutes Stück Land zurückerobern konnten. Eine weiße Kerze ist natürlich ein noch deutlicheres Zeichen als eine schwarze Kerze. Ist dann noch der Umsatz relativ hoch, könnte dies der »Sell-Out« gewesen sein.

Die Platinproduktion hat im Februar 2016 gestartet. Newslage ist aber relativ dünn. Volumen aber deutlich angestiegen im Vergleich zu den Vorjahren.

Meine Erwartung an den Platinpreis war vor vier Wochen eindeutig zu bärisch. Anstatt die mehrwöchige Konsolidierung mit einem finalen Rutsch an die tieferliegende Unterstützung um 1.050 USD abzuschließen, übernahmen die Bullen direkt wieder die Kontrolle und trieben die Notierungen innerhalb von zwei Wochen zielstrebig bis auf 1.199 USD. Hier jedoch wartete die Oberkante des neuen Aufwärtstrendkanals, welcher den Platinpreis in den letzten Handelstagen zu einem deutlichen Rückzug zwang. Unterm Strich steht Platin damit gerade mal knapp 20 USD höher als vor vier Wochen.

Allerdings haben sich die Indikatoren einer deutlichen Wandlung unterzogen. Während das neue MACD-Verkaufssignal durchaus noch mehr Luft nach unten hätte, hat der RSI seine neutrale Zone bereits erreicht und stellt derzeit keine Gefahr mehr dar. Die Stochastik hingegen ist völlig überverkauft und müsste eigentlich für unmittelbar steigende Preise sorgen.

Technisch betrachtet erreicht der Platinpreis nun eine wichtige Unterstützungszone (1.080 USD - 1.110 USD) in überverkauftem Zustand. Das spricht in jedem Fall für eine Gegenbewegung. Im besten Fall steht Platin bereits am Ende des Rücksetzers. Ganz kurzfristig könnte noch die 50-Tagelinie (1.093,15 USD) getestet werden. Aber dafür müsste bereits das untere Bollinger Band unterschritten werden. Alternativ wird das Widersehen mit der 50-Tagelinie über die Zeitachse gespielt, womit eine Seitwärtsbewegung zwischen 1.090 und 1.145 USD in den kommenden Wochen am wahrscheinlichsten wird.

Insgesamt erhält der Tageschart gerade die Bewertung "leicht bullisch", da die Unterstützung um 1.100 USD in jedem Fall zunächst halten sollte und eine Erholung mit sich bringen dürfte.

Handelsempfehlung:

Mehrmals haben meine tiefen Limits seit Jahresbeginn gegriffen. Aufgrund der starken Anstiege ist Platin aktuell aber eine Halteposition.

Platinum Group Metals Ltd. Announces Positive Independent Pre-Feasibility

Platinum Group Metals plans to continue drilling the deposit and to advance the project to completion of a FS and a construction decision. The company also plans to file a mining right application, with joint venture approval, based substantially on the results of the PFS.

Highlights of the PFS include:

• Validation of the 2014 Waterberg preliminary economic assessment (PEA) results for a large-scale, shallow, decline-accessible, mechanized platinum, palladium, rhodium and gold (4E) mine;
• Annual steady state production rate of 744,000 4E ounces in concentrate;
• A 3.5-year construction period;
• On-site life-of-mine average cash cost of $248 (U.S.) per 4E ounce, including byproduct credits and exclusive of smelter discounts;
• After-tax net present value (NPV) of $320-million (U.S.), at an 8-per-cent discount rate, using three-year trailing average metal prices;
• After-tax NPV of $507-million (U.S.), at an 8-per-cent discount rate, using investment bank consensus average metal prices;
• Estimated capital to full production of approximately $1.06-billion (U.S.), including $67-million (U.S.) in contingencies; peak project financing estimated at $914-million (U.S.);
• After-tax internal rate of return (IRR) of 13.5 per cent, using three-year trailing average price deck;
• After-tax IRR of 16.3 per cent at investment bank consensus average metal prices;
• Probable reserves of 12.3 million 4E ounces;
• Indicated resources updated to 24.9 million 4E ounces (2.5 grams per tonne 4E cut-off), and deposit remains open on strike to the north and below a 1,250-metre arbitrary depth cut-off.

R. Michael Jones, chief executive officer and co-founder of Platinum Group, said: "The completion of the PFS significantly increases the company's attributable 4E reserves, and is an important milestone for the project and the company. The PFS has a similar approach, similar peak funding in U.S.-dollar terms with increased production, compared to the PEA.

"Waterberg is designed to be a low-cost, multidecline, fully mechanized, mining complex along an initial 13-kilometre deposit strike length with two 300,000-tonne-per-month mills built in close sequence. At 744,000 ounces annual steady-state production and a modelled 18-year mine life, Waterberg is very large, and offers excellent exposure to the essential metals of platinum, palladium, rhodium and gold. Amazingly, the deposit is still open. The PFS covers only the first 218 million tonnes in indicated resources to date.

"With the full support of our joint venture partners, JOGMEC and Mnombo, we look forward to advancing Waterberg during the remainder of 2016 and 2017 with more drilling, a FS on the initial complex and the submission of a mining right application. From an original $20-million (U.S.) commitment by JOGMEC in 2015, approximately $8-million (U.S.) of further project funding remains to be spent. We are very appreciative of JOGMEC's continued commitment and support.
