Kaire Holdings, Inc Effective Health Subsidiary Reports 311 Orders From Two Contracted Independent Physician Groups
Kaire Holdings, Inc ("KAIRE") (OTC BB: KAIH) Effective Health pharmacy subsidiary reported that during the period from June 2005 through Jan 2006 it has received processed and billed 311 orders from LaSalle Medical Associates and New Horizon Medical independent physician groups. Sales from these orders were approximately $230,323.
Kaire CEO Steven Westlund stated, "We have seen a steady rise in the volume of orders from LaSalle Medical Associates and New Horizon Medical independent physician groups since last June. However, beginning in January of this year the volume of orders has increased dramatically. During the period from Jan 3, 06 to Feb 17, 06 we received 102 orders. The average amount of each order was $740.58. A large percentage of these orders were for high margin durable medical equipment such as wheel chairs, hospital beds, walkers, respiratory equipment including nebulizers. The average gross margin for these items ranges from 35% to 85%. We expect that the volume of orders from this business segment will continue to increase for both prescription medications and medical equipment."
Westlund continued, "The Company would also like to report it is in late stage contact discussions with three additional independent physician associations with a combined base of approximately 60,000 member patients. The company will release more detailed information regarding these physician groups shortly."
