ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Mar 1, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- buy.com (Nasdaq:BUYX), a multi-category Internet superstore, Wednesday announced it has officially launched a new affiliate marketing program labeled the buy.com Affiliate Connection.
The program is available for most Web site owners and operators interested in promoting buy.com products on their Web sites. As a pay-for-performance marketing program, the affiliate program is designed to be an efficient marketing tool for buy.com.
"We believe this new program allows us to attract new customers at a lower acquisition cost than traditional online marketing vehicles," commented Greg Hawkins, CEO of buy.com.

In exchange for promoting buy.com products on their sites, buy.com will offer commissions for only those sales generated by the site's visitors.
