SUNRIDGE GOLD CORP.: DRILLING INTERSECTS NEAR SURFACE HIGH-GRADE GOLD ZONE AND INCREASES DEPTH OF ADI NEFAS DEPOSIT, ASMARA PROJECT, ERITREA
Sunridge Gold Corp. has provided assay results from 15 diamond drill holes, NG-049-D to NG-063-D, from the Adi Nefas high-grade gold-copper-zinc volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposit, part of the Asmara project, Eritrea. These results increase the depth by 50 metres, from 250 metres to a vertical depth of 300 metres with high-grade zinc mineralization showing strong continuity at depth. In addition, holes NG-055-D, NG-056-D and NG-057-D were the first diamond drill holes to successfully test the near-surface gold zone returning significant to high-grade gold. Further drilling is planned to delineate the upper oxide gold zone in greater detail.
Adi Nefas has now been drilled over a strike length of 400 metres and further areas of mineralization remain to be drill tested along strike and down dip. The 2005-2006 drill program confirms that three distinct high-grade zones exist: a gold oxide zone underlain by a copper supergene zone underlain by a primary zinc-rich zone.

NG-055-D -- 12 metres grading 4.58 grams per tonne (g/t) Au and 172.52 g/t Ag;
NG-056-D -- 6.25 metres grading 18.71 g/t Au; and
NG-057-D -- 4.50 metres grading 18.33 g/t Au and 196.00 g/t Ag.
Primary zone:
NG-050-D -- 10 metres grading 1.82 g/t Au and 9.19 per cent Zn;
NG-052-D -- 7.85 metres grading 4.36 g/t Au, 136.73 g/t Ag, 1.25 per cent Cu and 17.70 per cent Zn;
NG-059-D -- 16.95 metres grading 2.31 g/t Au, 128.27 g/t Ag, 2.37 per cent Cu and 5.95 per cent Zn;
NG-060-D -- 7.70 metres grading 2.49 g/t Au, 145.75 g/t Ag, 2.71 per cent Cu and 13.02 per cent Zn; and
NG-062-D -- 14.90 metres grading 1.44 g/t Au, 72.28 g/t Ag, 1.08 per cent Cu and 9.93 per cent Zn.

Drill holes NG-049, 053, 054, 061 and NG-063-D did not intersect any significant mineralization.
All assays have been converted to a gold equivalent grade in grams per tonne in order to better clarify the value of these polymetallic results. Gold equivalent values are calculated on gross metal values not adjusted for metallurgical recoveries and based on the following metal values: gold equals $500 (U.S.) per ounce, silver equals $7 (U.S.) per ounce, copper equals $2.00 (U.S.) per pound and zinc equals 80 U.S. cents per pound.
Drill intercept lengths only are reported in the tabulations; it is estimated that true width will be approximately 80 per cent of the reported drill intercept length.
A quality assurance/quality control program is part of the drilling program on the Asmara project. This program includes chain of custody protocol as well as systematic submittals of standards, duplicates and blank samples into the flow of samples produced by the drilling.
A description of the geology, sampling procedures, and the company's laboratory quality assurance/quality control procedures are as described in the company's National Instrument 43-101 technical report filed on Feb. 17, 2004, and amended by the amended technical report filed dated April 27, 2004. Samples are prepared at African Horn Testing Services (Eritrea) and analyzed at Genalysis Laboratories (a NATA registered laboratory) in Perth, Western Australia.
