LHS Group and Alcatel introduce GPRS customer care and billing system
FEB 8, 2000, M2 Communications - LHS Group Inc and its billing partner Alcatel
have introduced a new GPRS customer care and billing system.
Based on LHS' BSCS product, the Alcatel/LHS system will allow mobile carriers to
choose for their GPRS traffic a mixture of traffic type- and volume-based
billing to suit their particular customer profiles. Alcatel will deploy the
system, fully integrated with the company's GPRS equipment and allowing for
GSM/GPRS convergent billing. Alcatel will also provide seamless integration of
the system into the operator's existing information system.
