My Casino, once called Abandor Gold, listed in April 2000. Its share price has been turbulent during the technology correction, moving between $A1.15 and $A0.30

NLINE gaming company My Casino, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in April, is drawing South-east Asian punters like the proverbial bees to the honey pot.

In just two months, the region`s punters have helped the company, licensed and based in Vanuatu, to become the world`s No 1 money-spinner in Internet gaming. Turnover was A$22 million (S$22.9 million) in May, then jumped an impressive 63 per cent to A$36 million in the following month.

"My Casino is confident that this impressive turnover trend will continue," managing director Gordon McIntosh told BT in Sydney. "We project that for the end of the next financial quarter, we will reach a staggering A$50 million in betting monies per month. There is no other online gaming competitor who has been able to match or exceed our turnover performance."

Mr McIntosh attributed My Casino`s success to strong business relationships with key casino marketing agents in South-east Asia. While he was unable to give BT a breakdown of punters by country and type of clients, he stressed that the bulk of My Casino`s contributors are based in the region. Mr McIntosh, who has more than 25 years of executive management experience in international and Australian casino, said one reason for the new company`s growth is its strong management team.

He said the company has a licence to operate for 10 years, with an option to renew for another 10 years. It also has a favourable 4 per cent gaming tax rate, low operating costs and secure financial transactions handled through Barclays Bank in Britain.

My Casino listed on the ASX on April 17 and defied the Black Monday market correction to close 275 per cent higher on its 20 Aussie cents issue price. The stock closed last Friday at 46.5 Aussie cents, more than double its issue price.

Partly as a result of the capital raising in April, the company is in a robust position with cash reserves of over A$8 million.

My Casino has become the world's top money-spinner for Internet gaming, handling A$36 million in betting monies for June predominantly from the Southeast Asian market, a company official said.
Turnover for June was up 63 per cent on May's figure of A$22 million, far exceeding My Casino's pre-listing predictions.

My Casino managing director Gordon McIntosh said: "My Casino's wholly owned subsidiary in Vanuatu is the world's most successful online gambling site when it comes to making money.

"My Casino is confident that this impressive turnover trend will continue. "We project that for the end of the following financial quarter we will reach A$50 million in betting monies per month."

Mr McIntosh said the majority of contributing punters were based in Southeast Asia.

My Casino's Internet gaming operations are licensed and based in the tiny South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu, and are not subject to Australian legislation or the country's moratorium on Internet gaming licences.

Since listing, the stock has plummeted to a low of 30¢, dragged down by news the Australian Government was going to introduce a moratorium on Internet gaming licences.

This is despite the fact My Casino`s Internet gaming operations are located offshore and are not subject to Australian legislation.

Mr McIntosh said the company was not disadvantaged by being based outside Australia, with punters more concerned about good service and strong customer relationships.

My Casino had a number of advantages over its competitors, including 10-year licence agreements with 10-year renewals, a 4 per cent gaming tax rate, secure backroom transaction arrangements and low operating costs.

The casino expected to convert 5 per cent of its turnover into profit - a bigger percentage than bricks and mortar casinos which have more expenses.

"Unlike many of our private competitors, My Casino is fully audited and verifiable, ensuring that financial figures are a true reflection of reality," Mr McIntosh said.

Ich verstehe nicht, warum das jemanden (Börsenrecht) stören kann - ich lese auch nur jene Postings, die mich intessieren - und das sind nur ein kleiner Bruchteil.
