FTD.com Inc. (EFTD) first quarter orders totaled 320,000 with an average value of $61.18 per order, up from 275,000 in the year-ago first quarter with an average value of $59.04.

Internet orders accounted for 88% of first quarter order mix, up from 84% a year earlier, driven by marketing programs.

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 2001--FTD.COM (Nasdaq: EFTD), a leading online marketer of flowers and specialty gifts, today announced the Company has expanded its marketing relationship with Yahoo!® Shopping (shopping.yahoo.com ), the No. 1 portal shopping destination on the Web (Nielsen//NetRatings, May 2001).

Through the agreement, FTD.COM will now be the Premier Flower Merchant on the home page of Yahoo! Shopping. FTD.COM will receive prominent placement as the Premier Store within the flowers category of Yahoo! Shopping and will continue to be a featured merchant and utilize keyword buttons and banner placements.

FTD.COM is pleased to have secured the only fresh floral merchant position on the home page of Yahoo! Shopping , said Bill Van Cleave, vice president of marketing for FTD.COM. This expanded agreement provides us with valuable exposure to the largest purchasing audience on the Web.

Since December 1997, FTD.COM and Yahoo! have maintained an advertising and promotional relationship. In November 1999, FTD.COM joined Yahoo! Shopping as a featured store and just last year (August 2000), FTD.COM became a top floral provider, with a featured store on the front page of Yahoo! Shopping.
