With a career in the resources industry spanning 25 years, Peter is experienced in all aspects of mining.
Peter has held positions with mining companies in both Australia and Canada, gaining on-site management experience in operations, mine design, budgeting, and permitting. This hands-on experience is complemented by senior positions in marketing, business development and investor relations. He has had extensive international experience developing business relationships and pursuing projects in Australia, the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. Peter's particular expertise is in iron ore and coal mining & marketing, with additional experience in gold, copper-gold, uranium, mineral sands and geothermal projects.
In his capacity as a board member and executive with junior mining companies, Peter has achieved success in project acquisitions and public financings. With his depth of experience, Peter is well-positioned to advise clients on a wide-range of technical matters involving M&A and project acquisitions, as well as general corporate advice.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) and a Graduate Diploma in Business, and is registered as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia and Alberta, Canada.
