F5 Networks (FFIV) is off $3.50, or 25.5 percent, to $10.25, after the Seattle provider of Internet traffic products warned that first-quarter revenue and earnings would miss Wall Street expectations. F5 expects to report a loss of 48 to 50 cents a share on revenue of $24 million to $26 million, missing the average estimate of analysts polled by First Call for
a profit of 17 cents a share. The company cited a slowdown in purchasing of Internt-infrastructure equipment, especially in North America.
