eSpeed names Goldflam Chief Financial Officer

NEW YORK, Sept 12 (Reuters) - Internet marketplace
developer eSpeed Inc. on Tuesday named Jeffrey
Goldflam, the former chief financial officer of Fimat USA Inc,
as its CFO, the company said.
Goldflam replaces Kevin Piccoli, who was CFO of the New
York-based company since December 1999, said Chris Staszak, a
company spokesman. Piccoli will "pursue other opportunities"
outside of eSpeed, Staszak said.
From 1979 to 1989, Goldflam held several senior positions
at Thomson McKinnon Securities, including treasurer and board
member, eSpeed said. For the past 11 years, he was CFO of Fimat
USA, a subsidiary of French financial services firm Societe
Generale .
ESpeed runs Internet sites that allow buyers and sellers to
trade instantaneously.
Shares of eSpeed traded up $1-3/16 to $26-1/4 on the Nasdaq
exchange.
