Sehr starke Performance über die letzten 24 Monate. Wärend die meisten Kohleaktien weltweit aufgrund der Krise im Rohstoffsektor, steigenden Kosten, des starken Preisverfalls im Kohlepreis und operativen Problemen stark unter Druck gerieten.

Coal imports rose 45 percent year-on-year in December 2012, from 9.77 million MT to 14.2 million MT, according to data from Interocean Group. Indonesian thermal coal output may surge by 5pct in 2013 if prices stay firm

Bloomberg reported that Indonesian coal output in 2013 may rise to 400 million tonnes up by 5.2% YoY as against 380 million tonne in 2012 as long as prices stay above USD 92 a tonne..

"Growth efforts in India’s domestic coal sector are finally starting to gain some traction, as Coal India (BSE:533278) — the world’s largest coal mining company — accelerates production, according to reports from the company and the Indian government. The company is targeting an overall increase of 7 percent for this fiscal year and is aiming for further growth of 6 percent for the coming year. That will put this fiscal year’s total at 492 million MT.

Asian coal market requires paper trading - Mr Clyde Russell

Mr Clyde Russell,a market analyst with Reuters wrote that there is a growing disconnect in global coal markets with the bulk of paper trading happening in the Atlantic basin even though the physical market has shifted dramatically to Asia.

He wrote “In some ways this mirrors the situation in oil markets where the global benchmarks remain Brent and West Texas Intermediate even though the vast majority of demand growth comes from China, India and other developing Asian nations..”

Die meisten Kohleaktien sind weltweit in den letzten 2 Jahren massiv gefallen, nachdem die Benchmarkpreise am Kohlemarkt aufgrund schwächerer Nachfrage und unsicheren Aussichten deutlich eingebrochen waren.. nur wenige Kohleunternehmen konnten sich in dieser Zeit erfolgreich gegen den Trend stellen..

Operating result

 According to the audited financial statements report for year ended 2012 of Energy Earth Public Company Limited ("the Company") and subsidiary year ended 2012, the Company would like to explain the reasons that caused its operation results to increase more than 20% as follows:

 ~  1.    The Company had sales of 10,406.28 million baht during year ended

2012, increased 5,721.16 million baht from the same year to year, representing an increase rate of 122.11 % because the Company succeeded in expanding the market both domestically and internationally, especially in China and India. The Company also started operating our own mines in Indonesia since February 2012, resulting in gaining customers' trust and substantial sales increase. In addition, the company has continuously more clients, so it has increased sales.

   2.    The Company generated gross margin of 2,127.51 million baht for year

2012, increased 1,341.06 million baht from the same year to year, representing an increase rate of 170.61 % as a result of the Company's more efficient cost management due to mines acquisition.

        3.   The company generated net profit of 1,280.44 million baht for year

2012, increased 885.13 million baht from the same year to year, representing an increase rate of 223.91% as a result of number 1 and 2 above..
