Commerce Resources drills 176 g/t Ta2O5 at Upper Fir 2008-02-27 16:48 ET - News Release Mr. David Hodge reports COMMERCE RESOURCES CORP. EXPANDS TANTALUM AND NIOBIUM MINERALIZATION AT THE UPPER FIR DEPOSIT Results of Commerce Resources Corp.'s 2007 diamond drilling program have expanded the known tantalum and niobium mineralization at the Upper Fir deposit. The deposit is located in south-central British Columbia and is wholly owned by the company. During 2007, 18 HQ-sized drill holes totalling 4,710 metres were completed at the Upper Fir deposit. All 18 holes intersected mineralized carbonatite, thereby extending the known mineralization by an additional 250 metres to the south and 200 metres to the east of the area identified in 2006. When combined with the apparently contiguous Bone Creek occurrence (drilled in October, 2005), the Upper Fir carbonatite complex now extends approximately 800 metres east-west, by 1,400 metres north-south. The Upper Fir carbonatite remains open to both the east and to the south. Highlights from the 2007 program include: The weighted average of Ta2O5 (tantalum oxide) without application of a cut-off grade is 176 grams per tonne (g/t), with an average apparent thickness of 55.2 metres. The weighted average grade of Nb2O5 (niobium oxide) is 1,549 g/t and of P2O5 (phosphate) is 3.11 per cent over the same interval. Using a 150 g/t cut-off, the overall weighted average grade for Ta2O5 is 212 g/t with an average true thickness of 29.7 metres. Weighted average grades of Nb2O5 and P2O5 (phosphate) for the respective intervals are 1,468 g/t and 3.55 per cent P2O5. Using a 1,500 g/t cut-off for Nb2O5, the overall weighted average grade for Nb2O5 is 2,587 g/t with an average true thickness of 16.7 metres. Weighted average grades of Ta2O5 and P2O5 for these respective intervals are 195 g/t and 3.00 per cent. Significant variability in grade was demonstrated by the 2007 drilling, indicating the potential for higher grade zones within the overall Upper Fir carbonatite. For example, maximum values of 693 g/t Ta2O5 and 9,142 g/t Nb2O5 were recorded over one metre, and several significant zones of enrichment were noted, such as within hole 28, the southernmost hole drilled to date, which contained: 11.00 metres between 128 and 139 metres, averaging 329 g/t Ta2O5, 4,990 g/t Nb2O5 and 2.83 per cent P2O5; 17.04 metres between 92.96 and 110 metres, averaging 4,943 g/t Nb2O5, 153 g/t Ta2O5 and 2.21 per cent P2O5; Additional examples of higher grade mineralization which are correlative between drill holes, follows: 17 metres from 48 to 65 metres, averaging 232 g/t Ta2O5, 1,789 g/t Nb2O5 and 3.25 per cent P2O5 (hole No. F07-18); Nine metres from 73 to 82 metres, averaging 284 g/t Ta2O5, 2,309 g/t Nb2O5 and 3.20 per cent P2O5 (hole No. F07-19); 12 metres from 62 to 74 metres, averaging 245 g/t Ta2O5, 1,581 g/t Nb2O5 and 2.91 per cent P2O5 (hole No. F07-20).

Jetzt kommen die NEWS und der Kurs fällt? Waren die Ergebnisse etwas schon eingepreist oder lassen sich jetzt wieder alle verschrecken, weil der kranke Riese mal wieder schlechte Zahlen vorgestellt hat!

Die NEWS zeigen für jedes der 18 Bohrlöcher erhebliche Ta & Nb-Gehalte. Einige der Zonen haben bisher nie gemessene Höchstwerte, so dass die gemittelten Werte sicherlich am unteren Ende liegen. Das Gebiet in BR ist immer noch nach zwei Seiten offen, d.h die Gesamtmenge an Mineral wird immer noch steigen ...

Na vielleicht wacht Deutschland auf, wenn die NEWS übersetzt werden ... unglaublich einfach!

watt soll ich dazu sagen. Da denken sich manche wahrscheinlich, daß in der aktuellen Situation ein "sell on good news" die beste Strategie sei. Daß sie dabei aber nur von "12 bis Mittag" denken, fällt denen aber wohl anscheinend nicht auf. ;-)

Also nur zur Info, ich habe nicht verkauft. Wozu auch? Geht bestimmt gleich wieder hoch der Kurs. Und wenn heute nicht, dann halt morgen. ;-)

Der Kurs wird hier nicht gemacht. Außerdem ist das vorsichtige Verhalten der deutschen Kleinanleger bekannt, Gewinnmitnehmen werden den Tag hier prägen, CAN kann das heute Mittag ändern..

stimme dir zu.Ergebnisse sind sehr solide und zeigen uns das Uper Fir eine klasse Liegenschaft ist mit weiteres Potenzial.

Ich glaube das der kurzfristige Kursrückang auch mit den Zockern der Noggert Bande zu tun haben könnte.Er hat einen engen Stopp zu 0,68€ seinen Jüngern empfohlen.

Ist mir schnuppe wie der Kurs sich heute entwickelt da Ich mit CCE ein Invest auf sehr langer Sicht eingegangen bin....

Last die Zocker raus dann kann es wieder step for step aufwärts gehen...

Das der Kurs nicht hier gemacht wird ... tja selbst Chris mußte in seiner Präsentation einräumen, dass über 6 Monate das Vol. ca. 2x so hoch ist in Germany! Ds eigentlich Problem - und das wurde in seinem BNN Interview sehr deutlich - ist, dass der US-Markt für CCE bisher nicht erschlossen wurde oder besser in zu geringem Umfang. Ich werde die Zusammenfassung des Interviews nachher mal reinstellen, aber jetzt muss ich erstmal ein bisserl Geld verdienen ;-)

Das Volumina scheint hier höher zu sein, richtig. Aber ein vergisst du, bei uns
gibt es wesentlich mehr Crosstrades als in CAN. Bei uns werden viel mehr Aktien einfach rumgeschoben, in CAN sind mehr langfristige Anleger invesiert. Außerdem gibt es bei uns viel mehr Zocker..

Das in Kanada mehr langfristige Anleger sind, möchte ich mal bestreiten. Das liegt viel mehr an der Haltefrist die Kanada vorgeschrieben ist.  

Ich denke aber wir haben in CAN mehr institutionelle Anleger als in D, sollte an der Heimatbörse auch so sein. Wenn ich mir nur denke, wieviel Shares alleine
Sprott im letzten Jahr eingesammelt hat..

- der gewichtete Durchschnitt von Ta2O5 (Tantaloxid) ohne Anwendung eines Cut-Off-Gehaltes liegt bei 176 g/t; die durchschnittliche scheinbare Mächtigkeit beträgt 55,2 m. Der gewichtete Durchschnittsgehalt von Nb2O5 (Nioboxid) liegt bei 1.549 g/t und von P2O5 (Phosphat) bei 3,11 % im selben Bohrabschnitt.

- unter Verwendung eines Cut-Off-Gehaltes von 150 g/t liegt der gewichtete Durchschnittsgehalt bei insgesamt 212 g/t Ta2O5. Die durchschnittliche wahre Mächtigkeit beträgt 29,7 m. Die gewichteten Durchschnittsgehalte von Nb2O5 und P2O5 in den entsprechenden Abschnitten liegen bei 1.468 g/t und 3,55% P2O5 .

- unter Verwendung eines Cut-Off-Gehaltes von 1.500 g/t Nb2O5 liegt der gewichtete Durchschnittgehalt bei 2.587 g/t Nb2O5. Die durchschnittliche wahre Mächtigkeit beträgt 16,7 m. Die gewichteten Durchschnittsgehalte von Ta2O5 und P2O5 in den entsprechenden Abschnitten liegen bei 195 g/t und 3,00%.

- Die Bohrungen im Jahre 2007 zeigten eine signifikante Schwankung der Gehalte. Dies deutet das Potenzial für reichhaltigere Zonen innerhalb des Upper-Fir-Carbonatits an. Es wurden z.B. Höchstwerte von 693 g/t Ta2O5 und 9.142 g/t Nb2O5 über eine Länge von einem Meter gefunden und es wurden mehrere signifikante Anreicherungszonen beobachtet, wie in Bohrung 28, der bis dato südlichsten Bohrung. Sie enthielt:

- 11,00 m, zwischen 128 m und 139 m Tiefe, mit einem Durchschnittsgehalt von 329 g/t Ta2O5, 4.990 g/t Nb2O5 und 2,83% P2O5;

- 17,04 m, zwischen 92,96 m und 110 m Tiefe, mit einem Durchschnittsgehalt von 4.943 g/t Nb2O5, 153 g/t Ta2O5 und 2,21% P2O5.

- Folgend weitere Beispiele einer reichhaltigeren Vererzung, die zwischen den Bohrungen korrelativ ist:

- 17 m, zwischen 48 m und 65 m Tiefe, mit einem Durchschnittsgehalt von 232 g/t Ta2O5, 1.789 g/t Nb2O5 und 3,25% P2O5 (Bohrung Nr. F07-18);

Die bis jetzt durchgeführte Exploration auf der Fir-Lagerstätte hat ergeben: Eine Angezeigte Ressource von 5,65 Mio. t mit 203,1 g/t Ta2O5 und 1.047 g/t Nb2O5 (Verzosa 2003) und eine Abgeleitete Ressource von 6,7 Mio. t mit 196 g/t Ta2O5, 646 g/t Nb2O5 und 3,2 % P2O5 (McCrea 2001). Die Verity-Lagerstätte liegt 10 km nördlich der Fir-Liegenschaft und besitzt eine geschätzte Geschlussfolgerte Ressource von 3,06 Mio. t mit 196 g/t Ta2O5, 646 g/t Nb2O5 und 3,2 % P2O5 (McCrea 2001).
