Bergs Timber manufactures and sells sawn and finished wood products with a focus on customized products. Production takes place in three sawmills situated in Mörlunda, Orrefors and Järnforsen as well as in the timber preservation company, AB Bitus. Its forest products offering comprises Spruce Wood Products, such as joists, roof truss timbers, spars, laths, panels, tongued and slats, and Pine Wood Products, including furniture, pine fifths, planed duckboards, decking, blockhouses, joists and others. There are planing mills at all of the group's sawmills for refinement and all plants are located within 90 km. More than 80% of the products were exported to the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Ireland and the Middle East. By-products are sold to the pulp and particle board industry and also as fuel. Timber raw materials are obtained mainly from the area around the Group's three saw mills in addition to timber from the Group's forest property.
