Das Anlageziel des Fonds besteht in der Steigerung des Kapitalwerts. Der Fonds bildet die tägliche Wertentwicklung eines Rohstoffindex, des UBS CMCI Ex-Agriculture Ex-Livestock Capped Index Total Return, abzüglich von Gebühren und Kosten, nach. Der Index ist ein Referenzindex für die Rohstoffmärkte (ohne Landwirtschaft und Nutzvieh). Er ist gut diversifiziert und umfasst Komponenten aus den Bereichen Energie und Metalle. Komponenten aus den Sektoren Landwirtschaft und Nutzvieh sind im Index nicht enthalten. Die Wertentwicklung des Index wird über den Erwerb von Derivaten abgebildet.
