November 2007 - Arianne Resources Inc. ( Arianne") meldet, dass die Explorationsarbeiten für die Projekte Opinaca und Lac H (Aufhebung der Option steht bevor) in James Bay wieder aufgenommen wurden. Es wird zurzeit eine weitere Grundlinie bestimmt und es werden IP- und geophysikalische InfiniTEM-Vermessungen vorgenommen. Anfang 2008 soll eine Diamantbohrkampagne beginnen, um die Bohrkampagne 2007 abzuschließen, die Ende des Sommers aufgrund des Straßenbaus zur Baustelle Eastmain 1-A für den Staudamm Quebec gestoppt wurde. Diese Straße läuft durch das Camp von Arianne, daher musste das Camp umgesetzt werden. Neue Polymetall-Explorationsziele: Auf einem Teil des Projekts Lac H (SOQUEM & ARIANNE) wird eine InfiniTEM-Vermessung durchgeführt. Dieses Projekt liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Projekts Opinaca, wo während der Kampagne 2007 gefundene Gesteine auf die Existenz von massiven Sulfiden vulkanischen Ursprungs hindeuten. Einige IP-Leiter sind bereits aus der Vergangenheit bekannt und hängen mit den geochemischen Humusbodenanomalien zusammen. Diese sind vorrangige Bohrziele, um das Potenzial an Basismetallen zu prüfen. Massive Sulfidvorkommen vulkanischen Ursprungs wurden im Süden unseres Gebiets identifiziert: Sie enthalten Kupfer, Zink, Silber und Blei (beispielsweise Ressources Sirios auf der Liegenschaft von Pontax). Diese massiven Sulfidvorkommen können auch Gold enthalten. Induktionspolarisationsvermessungen (IP-Vermessungen): Diese Vermessung erfolgt auf dem Projekt Opinaca, um den Goldausbiss Chino mit 3,30 g/t Gold und einer Mächtigkeit von 6,75 m genauer zu definieren und die Existenz ähnlicher Strukturen in den Nachbargesteinen zu überprüfen. Diamantbohrungen: Eine Diamantbohrkampagne für 3.000 Bohrmeter soll Anfang 2008 beginnen, um die Zone Chino in der Tiefe zu untersuchen und ihre seitlichen Ausdehnungen zu bestimmen. Die Zonen Contact und Bull werden ebenfalls mit Tiefenbohrungen und die hier erwähnten Polymetallzielobjekte durch Bohrungen untersucht. Weitere Informationen zu den Arbeiten: Die Erkundungsarbeiten 2007 betrafen für das gesamte Projekt Opinaca/Lac H sowie für die Projekte Komo und Wabamisk im Westen sowie Black Dog im Osten. Es wurden 665 Handproben genommen und zur Analyse auf Gold und Basismetalle eingeschickt (Kupfer, Silber, Zink und Blei). Es wurden fast 2.000 Humusproben auf Gold und Metalle analysiert. Bei den Projekten Komo und Lac H wurden weitere anomale Goldgehalte gefunden. Auf dem Projekt Lac H wurde bei der Suche nach massiven Sulfiden vulkanischen Ursprungs eine Probe in einer basischen Kuppe mit 1,3 g/t Gold gefunden. Im westlichen Ausläufer von Aïeul enthielten zwei Proben 0,9 und 1,8 g/t Gold (37,4 g/t Au ; 2006). Für diese neuen Gebiete wurden im Herbst nochmals Proben genommen, die Analyseergebnisse stehen noch aus. Die Ergebnisse werden bekannt gegeben, sobald sie zur Verfügung stehen.
