AMAG Austria Metall AG is one of Austria’s leading industrial companies and an important aluminium producer in Europe. Headquartered in Ranshofen, Austria, the company manufactures high-quality aluminium products for industries such as automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering, packaging and sporting goods.
AMAG covers several stages of the aluminium value chain, ranging from metal trading and casting to highly specialized rolled products. Part of its primary aluminium production is secured through a participation in a smelter in Canada.
In financial year 2025, AMAG operated in a challenging environment for the global aluminium industry. Despite geopolitical uncertainty and margin pressure, the company maintained stable operations thanks to flexible production, international customer markets and efficiency measures.
Strategically, AMAG continues to focus on high-value aluminium products, industrial applications and a strong international market presence.
